Our legion does yummy fish & chips. The halibut is caught locally & so fresh. Wish I could treat myself more than once every few months.

Same goes for people who give me attacks from scents. Taking me out for the day. Migraines, vomiting & diarrhea. I don't consent to being drowned in scents some people bathe themselves in. It's just life living around people. In your home you can dictate what's done & nowhere else. Have a nice day.

I'm allergic to artificial scented products & perfumes. Get allergic reactions. As much as I'd love an scent free world, expecting people to only use at home infringes rights & lives. People who don't like the smell of weed on me don't register on radar. I do have specific jacket for smoking though.

I love that outside the Vancouver International airport, there's a designated smoking & vaping area for weed. There's a second smoking area somewhere else for those who don't like weed smell. I was given 3 unsmoked joints by strangers couldn't take through security. Great since my flight canceled.

It wouldn't work. At this point in time, it will take decades for u.s. to rebuild trust with many countries not only Canada. My focus is Canada & our upcoming election. Poilievre is a far right conservative we need to keep out of office. Sadly this type conservative is on rise here.

I am not harsh. My tone can't be read or eyes seen. I cut off u.s. news, only listening to what my family down there informs us on. I don't trust any news channels coming from there. I don't trust our news up here either. My focus is our own mess of election coming up. Poilievre = temu trump.

I respect yours too. Biggest wtf for my neck of woods was we all saw what he is yet he was voted in. The breakdown of voters was disheartening. I hope for you & my family down there safety. May this insanity get people serious about coming together to get him out fast.

Also- Don't care about what states have $. Canadians are fine w/o u.s. arrogance. People unhappy with what's going on in u.s. put boots to ground en mass, take power back instead of only venting on internet. Non u.s can stop supporting any u.s. business in response to your country's insanity.

You have a country that was built from systematic racism & misogyny that continues to this day unchecked. I see a country who tries to erase other cultures, hates on Black people. Then comes that trade b.s. in January. We don't need that energy here.

No. states can stay states. People can ban together en mass to fight mess created rather than constantly writing about moving to Canada. Don't need states mentality coming here. I don't believe people are willing to do the hard work to bring your country together again.

@bardicarts.bsky.social This is similar to my recipe. I use Guyanese Thyme, Wiri Wiri peppers & add a tiny bit of Cassareep. jehancancook.com/2017/04/fina...

I enjoy the app. But for the love of heaven could we FINALLY get an edit button for our posts???

Yes I do. They are meant to be shared. I don't have a written recipe though. Each household makes theirs a little different. I'm currently online looking for a recipe similar to mine in ingredients. Then I will post link for you.

The conservatives we have now are not like the ones from years ago. They are more extreme right. I see hints of trimp ideals. For Canadians to think it could never happen to us is to fool ourselves. We are just as racist a country. Look at how Indigenous, Black and other P.o.C. get treated here.

We have Pollievre trying to become next Prime Minister. Ontario & Alberta have conservative governments. B.C. NDP only won by 3 seats last provincial election. There are plenty here who like Republican ideals. Canada could easily head the same direction as states in next federal election.

Beautiful! I need to switch to my tablet so I can see it in a larger size. Looking at photography with my cell phone just doesn't cut it for my old eyes anymore.

Nope. I've never been on twitter. Not into using the majority of social media platforms. I thought I'd check out Bluesky. So far, I don't mind it.

Edna is amazing! Up in northern canada, I've put in requests at my local library to add her books to our collection. I want people in my area learn about her.

I visited Glasgow 11 years ago. It's one of my top 2 favourite trips I'vetaken. The people were great! Loved the museums. I still think about that old fashioned candy store I stumbled upon.

That explains the big jump in followers in past 2 days! I was confused at the sudden interest in my account. 😂🤣 Thank you for the add! As a beginner, it feels kind of neat for people to see from the very start of my journey in photography.
