The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame. The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

I finished reading “Tell Me Everything” by Elizabeth Strout. It is a lovely book set in small town Maine. I’ve read several of her books so it was like visiting old friends. Much better than doomscrolling.

This is me dipping my toe into actually using social media. As I considered what to put in my first post, the last two weeks happened. Yikes! So in lieu of something profound I will just say this. I am here. I am finding my way around. I am enjoying the things I am seeing.
