My only big request was "NOT CARDINAL BURKE!!!!" In general, I was just hoping for someone similar to Pope Francis.

I could have told you that! I used to work for an import brokerage in Montana on the Canadian border. This was the stuff I used to see on a daily basis.

I'm biting my thumb at them. I already hate dealing with the SSA (I have a kid who receives SSI for severe special needs), and now I have to pretend to be polite in person???

Beginning March 31, people will no longer be able to verify their identity with the SSA over the phone. Those unable to verify their identity through the agency’s “my Social Security” online service will be required to visit a field office in person to complete the process.

Meanwhile, I can't wear bras, turtlenecks, or necklaces because of sensory issues going from the back of my head down to just below my shoulders. I also have had conversations with people about the textures of foods making them sick. Let people do their own thing unless it is killing them. 4/

This was really frustrating for me because my kiddo literally stopped eating one January, and we have no idea why. He ended up with a g-tube 7 months later. Cue four years of tube feeds until he decided to start eating on his own again. 2/

There was a thread on a Facebook post regarding ARFID in which people were calling parents like me out for letting their kids eat the same things. They were talking about how THEY would never make a separate meal for their kids. 1/
