"If" is a big word here to use, but I appreciate the optimism.

I am genuinely terrified. My father has dementia and his social security and retirement pays for his care. Given the domino I see happening, I'm not even sure it would be safe for me to socially and medically transition anymore--a plan I had hope to achieve by 40.

I pray your Hollywood ending for Gabbard is true, though, for what it is worth.

My plea to reporters is to not call it the Department of Government Efficiency. It is not a Department. It is almost certainly going to a Federal Advisory Committee, and it is very important that reporters accurately convey that Vivek and Elon are working on an advisory committee.

This would require Tulsi to remember the principles she used to have instead of wallowing in her spite for the DNC as she continues to descend into lunacy. She is the most qualified of the picks so far, but she is pretty far from who she once was.

If their recess appointment idea doesn't work it seems like Gaetz could very well have retired from Congress to not even get the job he was appointed for. A girl can dream.

Ironically, one of his more competent hires given Gaetz as AG and Hegseth as SOD.

This election has made a lot of people lose faith in mail in ballots due to how they have been unrelentingly targeted.

Agree with this, but I'd also add onto that with the notion of "be prepared; starting gathering resources you need to survive that are not perishable". The economy is going to get worse before it gets better.

Economics and Civics were electives in my high school (2003-2007). Starting to feel like they should be mandatories across all charter, public, and private education options now.

People really did open the door for whatever this is because "groceries and gas were cheaper during Trump's first term" didn't they? We have become a society of fools. 😑

Reagan's wave of neoconservatism led the way to neoliberalism. Please god, don't let Trump's anti-truth movement lead to the same thing but "slightly less mean" and blue. 😔😔😔
