Spanish Snack #6: Vidal Spicy Mango Gummies Gummy candies with a nice, soft texture, a fantastic mango flavor, and more chili spice than I expected. Great combo once you know what to expect. 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭 That's it for the Spanish snack box - let's see where we travel next!

Spanish Snack #5: Acho Fried Egg Potato Chips I wasn't sure what to expect with this, but it's exactly what the name suggest, and it's really good! High-quality potato chips with a salty, rich egg yolk flavor. 🥔🍳🥔🍳🥔

I mean, might depend on what the trade is.

Spanish Snack #4: Puntazos Snack Mix This was a pretty straightforward snack mix, except every piece was basically corn in a different shape. Unremarkable, but decent in taste and texture. 🌽🌽🌽

Spanish Snack #3: Mantequera Walnut Alfajor Cookie I'm not sure if it was supposed to be this wet - seems like the walnut oil separated from the rest of the ingredients - but it was a delicious cookie. Soft texture, great nutty flavor. 🍪🍪🍪🍪

Was it… magical? ✨

Spanish Snack #2: Tirma Galletas de Naranja Crunchy, orange-flavored cookies coated in dark chocolate. Really nice flavor combo - the orange flavor is very aromatic, which helps it keep up with the strong dark chocolate flavor. I would have preferred the cookie be a bit softer. 🍪🍊🍪🍊

Spanish Snack #1: Doble M Honey & Butter Flavored Corn Puffs These lightly-sweet, corn puffs have a flavor reminiscent of Corn Pops cereal and a texture like Cheetos puffs (but much less messy). Despite the packaging, there's no mystery -double or otherwise - to the flavor. 🍿🍿🍿🍿

My third snack box is Spain! I'm not very familiar with Spanish cuisine, so I'm excited to learn a bit about it!

I love when a map's border is just as interesting as the map itself!

Historical Snack #7: Nöt Crème Delicato These Swedish "mud cake flavored chocoballs" are hard chocolate shells filled with a slightly gritty (by way of oats and coconut) chocolate cream. Really nice flavor and mix of textures. That's the end of the historical snacks! What will the next box be?

Awesome! I’ll check out your message on FB. I’m not sure why messages don’t work here, but I’ll check my settings.

I didn’t think I’d ever seen this movie, but I have a vague memory of this scene. Probably something that freaked me out as child.

Thanks! I definitely want to continue the series. Gotta get my hands on book 2.

The official app used to be better. At some point they changed it and paywalled a bunch of features, which contributed to me losing interest. I should give it another shot, though. See if anything has improved.

Man, inflation is hitting thoughts, too? I wonder what putting in your two cents will cost.

Historical Snack #6: Amaretti Virginia Soffici These soft almond cookies from Italy pack quite a bold flavor into a tiny package. The taste is almost coconutty with a hint of lemon, and the texture is soft and a bit crumbly. I just wish it was bigger! 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

I'm just sed to seeing how my wife orders it, which has the whole thing looking mighty soggy. haha

What treasures! As a heads up, Pokémon Silver will likely need a new battery if you want it to hold a save.

Historical Snack #5: Taylors Haggis & Black Pepper Potato Crisps I've never had actual haggis, so I can't comment on the authenticity of these crisps, but they have a mild meaty flavor with a heavy dose of black pepper that sticks with you. They're also really thick-cut, which I enjoyed. 🥔🥔🥔🥔

This candy says it's artificially-flavored, so I assume it's made from artificial Christmas trees. 😂

Historical Snack #4: Gicopa Sapin Pine-Flavored Candies Belgian hard candies with a mild piney flavor. I was worried it would taste like a cleaning product, but it's actually quite nice. 🍬🍬🍬🍬

Historical Snack #3: Mathez Cocoa Powdered Truffles These small dusty French chocolates are are tasty, but very rich, melty, and a bit one-note. 🍫🍫🍫
