You’ve made it to the news here in Finland. Keep up the good work!

This was in the news even here in Finland. He is my new hero!

How can anyone become so hateful that they do this?

Anyone trashing AOC can’t be a leftist. As an outsider to US politics, I can see how someone on the left could criticise Democrats for not doing enough and being too kind to billionaires. But AOC? No way.

These people are heroes! Their superpower is in their numbers! Stand together!

I did not know this about Ravenna. Must check those out if I ever end up there. That region is where the breed of my dogs (lagotto romagnolo) is originally from, so there’s a good chance I’ll visit it.

Ukrainans are fine people and could not have a better leader. A right man in the right place.

Here we have sliding tax rate tiers too, but true, if you have deductables (say, you’ve hired someone to renovate or clean your house you get little off from your taxes) then you need to file those via internet form.

I suppose having elections would require some sort of functional government. By looking how quickly they f*ck everything up, in 2026 there won’t pe a piece of paper left to act as a ballot, so Trump will just crown himself the King.

I think many good animals came from that, so I would say it was the ape that came down from the tree that this planet could have done without.

The money could be seized like in the good old times when the rich lost ownership to their slaves.

Believing that people WORK after having 999 million is odd. They have money coming to the money while they sail on their yacht with 30 servants. They can sail 200 years and not run out of money. Every penny coming to them could be given to support the society: free helthcare for all, free education.

This is how taxes are filed in Finland (and other parts of Europe I think), step 1 is made super easy, the taxes from your wages, stock earnings etc are pre failed. So if you haven’t got any other taxable income, you don’t need to lift a finger.

Yes, they should do that everywhere. Amazon can close one location for timidation but it can’t close them all.

I wonder how long his liver can take that poison. His brain clearly is gone already.

Vance had some nerve to open his mouth. He should have gone home to his sofa, it was St. Valentine’s Day after all. Zelenskyi is a real free world leader.

There’s no point at which the rich are satisfied with the amount of money they have. Even Smaug could stop hoarding and enjoyed his pile of gold.

What USA needs is a massive seizure of the productive wealth that the rich have. The same way as in 1863 when American slaves were freed.

Decided to start with this. In the introduction it says the book is about ā€taking the rich out of the cockpit of society and putting a democratic system in their placeā€. Sounds super urgent.

As an European, Vance’s speech was not really helpful. Maybe Europe just need to forget USA an an ally for now. Until, hopefully, you guys get someone sane in the Oval office.

Please, don’t send your drunks to mess up Europe’s security. Be like us Finns: drink at home in your underwear. Thank you!

I hope Kendrick has written new lyrics to ā€Not like usā€, targeting Felon President and the Twitter guy.

I’s Orwellian newspeak. War is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength. Because if you look at these DEI hires, they actually are the best candidate, because you have had the entire pool of people to choose from, not just the white cis men.

Conclave, obviously. Call me silly, but I also really enjoyed ā€The Lost Kingā€ (2022).
