Still, I thought Dovin played well enough #pusb #skynews

You ever seen the second season (I think) of the Netflix Sunderland show? The season where the southern chancers take over and they get relegated to league one? Yeah, that. #pusb #skyblues

This is one of those decks that your shady uncle busts out at the new years party that's missing half the cards. #pusb #skyblues

Ah well, at least we didn't sack the best coach for a generation because recruitment didn't want to admit to the idiot boss that they'd got him to buy total shite. #pusb #skyblues

I don't want to rehash old arguments, but yeah. If the boss of a man utd or whatever had gone off like that people wouldn't call it "passion" or whatever. They'd have called it unprofessional. Fortunately the media doesn't care about us.

Well yeah, but something tells me that keeper issue will rectified soon. There may be an element of over correction on my part given how against his hiring I was but how committed I am to supporting him once he was in.

There's enormous gaps between the lines. But that's been a long problem. I suspect the players laziness is the main cause
comment in response to post
Yeah the stats don't suggest he faces a worse time than any other keeper. It just seemed to me that the first two goals could have been dealt with before Collins had a chance to fuck it up.

Not until it's too late.

I said that was far enough. I just said we don't talk enough about the defence in front of him not fancying any physicality.

Honestly yeah. I didn't exactly hide my opinion on Frank before he came in. But I said I would back him once he's here and I meant it. I honestly don't think he can be judged given some of these players. Some "deck" right.
comment in response to post
At the risk of learning nothing from being taken by the rumour mill 😂. Speculation that Frank is bringing Ashley Cole with him. I would be happy with that. But yeah hopefully Rhys can go full Southgate and win himself into the job
comment in response to post
I realise now I said "Why they are" doing this, I should have said "why they would" But I was just answering a question from yesterday. I'm with you, it's game day. Whatever the situation, I'm all in. Fwiw my Welsh wife is thrilled with the job Rhys is doing 😂. Nothing but love for him
comment in response to post
Probably not. But given his current managerial reputation I wouldn't count out the possibility. Although it's more plausible to be a Doug call. That being said, I did agree with you previously that it almost certainly wasn't "bottling" and just an issue of dotting I's and crossing T's.
comment in response to post
Oh no I absolutely understand that avoiding that risk is exactly why they're doing this. I'm saying if this "deck" of players is good enough to go up, these are the teams we need to beat. If Frank and Doug don't think we could with two weeks training, maybe hire someone else
comment in response to post
That's a much more reasonable take than my opening remarks 😂. But football is an entirely different business. Frankly my concerns stem from precisely what you've said. Doug is a successful businessman so assumes he can do this. There's no reason to assume that's true imo. But I hope it is.
comment in response to post
You're probably right. Should get this tin foil hat resized. But there's nothing to be decided that should take this long. If Doug is serious about conditions Frank won't accept we should move on. Or give lamps what he wants. The delay shows inexperience and unprofessionalism imo

I mean I get the thinking. We all agree lampard has to hit the ground running. But this is pathetic from all involved. If Doug and frank don't think he has a chance of improving in those games, maybe don't hire him. If we are going up we have to beat those kind of teams. #PUSB

Is he really? What's the link? That would be hilarious. As I say, I have no issue with any of the things that seem to have upset everyone else. I was flabbergasted that doug invited an underlying to play hatchet man in that environment. I guess we've established why he took on that role
comment in response to post
Fwiw I have no objections to a coach being sacked when he refuses to listen to other departments and the results tank. I found the desperate public defence of those people unprofessional. Doug clearly thought we wouldn't accept this without knowing the truth, he was right about that. Then got upset
comment in response to post
Yeah whether it was hard truths we needed to hear or not, I'm comfortable with calling the whole fiasco unprofessional. I'm not concerned with whether he's telling the truth, I'm concerned that he clearly isn't up to the pressure of this.
comment in response to post
Yeah maybe, but the behaviour at the fan forum was unprofessional. From him and his little supporter. If the boss is letting recruitment bitch about a head coach ignoring them at a fan forum, imagine how they are speaking in private. It's pretty clear that the new staff couldn't work with robins
comment in response to post
It's a weird feeling about lampard apparent demands too. I absolutely do not trust lampard to have a veto on transfers or whatever they call it. But after that performance at the fan forum, I hope recruitment have no influence on anything at all. #pusb

I wonder if a generation that has confused arguing on twitter with actual politics has been doing this too long to see the woods from the trees. But how many times must we lose before we stop playing by their rules?

Fwiw I am literally following Kemi. She's the leader of the opposition for God's sake. I merely said that Lewis and everyone else can fuck off with telling people who they should and shouldn't read anymore. Don't waste your energy on the lies of the enemy online. Spend it on helping your people.

He didn't score, but he put in possibly the best cross field pass of his career. As I knew he would 😂. Keep the faith I guess. 😂

If I wanted a political debate about every aspect of life, I'd go home more for Sunday dinner. Reading bullshit on the Internet is the opposite of actual politics. Modern liberals believing it counts as politics is why the right are winning. Knock doors for politics. My phone is for fun.
comment in response to post
It might be, but that's not what I said. I was talking about the liberal handwringing of the press telling us we should be forced to listen to those who lie about us. We should talk to real people about their real problems. We've wasted energy on opinions of hacks who are just as detached.
comment in response to post
In principle I agree. I also think the right do precisely what you describe, it's the liberal handwringers who try to meet people half way. But that has failed. Sooner or later people will have to realise that the other side are playing by different rules. They demand that which they do not do
comment in response to post
The media has learned precisely nothing. Because they do not suffer the consequences of their handwringing like we do. Got to keep your options open if the telegraph has a vacancy I suppose.

Self righteousness in the face of blatant lies for the sake of power is why the West is in the mess it is. The lesson of the last decade is that gatekeeping and qualifications are a good thing. You can follow whoever you want, so can anyone else. Get off your high horse
