Poor Fergie 😞

His stepovers make Phil Neville look like young Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dalot should be first, closely followed by Onana.
comment in response to post
Seems like you are the only one then. The only things to complain about is Dalot and shite defending.

Even with all the replays it never looked like Lindström touched the ball.

If people have time to count screws they probably are redundant. Shaw and Mount could definitely contribute with the screw counting as they’re not playing football anyway.

Because they can. The players are protected. Can’t force them out and can’t force anyone to buy them. It was reported the other day that the club would have been bust if not for Ineos cash injection. Ineos isn’t perfect, but they’ve been dealt a poor hand by Glazers mismanagement of the club.
comment in response to post
None of those players were signed by Ineos, nor given the wages they’re on. We’ve been open to selling most of those you mention, but no one can afford their wages or won’t pay them. Ineos can’t just cut their wages, it’s against the law.

Not good enough 😞

He didn’t have a whole lot of options on the starting XI. Lindelöf the only senior player on the bench. Extremely disappointed he didn’t trust the kids. Made a pointless substitution in extra time.

He’s 29 in a couple of months. No one wanted him when he left Ajax for free, except Inter. His ex-manager from Ajax was the only one who would ever have paid £50m for him. He’s not very good.
comment in response to post
Yeah he struggled towards the end 😂 At least he knew that himself and decided to retire. Dalot is stinking up the pitch twice a week.
comment in response to post
Bet he’d be better than Dalot even today.
comment in response to post
I’d swap him with ANY other RB in the league.

For sure!

His footwork isn’t really that good either. A bit overrated.

Mikkel 😅

Agree. I fully back Ruben to build a team of players that work hard for each other, the badge and the fans. It will take time, but we’ll get there if we are patient.

And you are of course entitled to. I usually agree with that, and definitely in regards to Sancho. It’s just the lack of quality that worries me. We have players like Antony and Dalot that gives their all but barely is PL level. That is also part of the problem, not just the lazy egos.

Giving 100% is not always enough. Of course that is what you want from your players, but his contribution the last two years is next to nothing. He got himself into bad press by being a hot headed guy. I never liked him and think the club was mad for paying more than three times his market value.

Antony started well for us too, been dreadful for two seasons. If he regains form and confidence we’ll at least get a little money for him in the summer. Don’t think he’ll ever be good enough for a club with ambitions in the Premier League.
comment in response to post
He was the players’ player of the season, Bruno won best player. Still don’t get it. Never thought he was good but some may have appreciated his high fives.

I bet they do. They know it’s a difficult situation and not his players, nor is it the squad Ineos would have wanted to deliver to him. No point judging until we’re there and see what happens. Belief is important.
comment in response to post
None of those things will happen. He will get backing in the summer. New budget, players leaving and a full pre-season to work with the squad.

He believes in himself and must have known that any January deals would depend on sales. Unfortunately the fees paid and wages given by the Glazers make pretty much everyone unsellable. He got Dorgu and Heaven this month and got a few months to sort this lot out and see who can make it.
comment in response to post
I bet he knew. Remember that he wanted to stay at Sporting until the summer, but was told it’s now or never. One of the first things he said was that this was going to be rough for a while.
comment in response to post
Don’t forget INEOS built a state of the art training facility for Nice too and are currently doing a £50m upgrade on Carrington for us.
comment in response to post
Benatia is already on the plane.
comment in response to post
INEOS are far from perfect, but I expect them to give Amorim time and build a young, promising team. The club was broke and we sold to buy in the summer. We don’t have more money this window and managed to add Dorgu and Heaven. This approach will take time, but prefer it to Glazers buying has-beens.

1. Vieira (29 months, sacked) 2. Ursea (interim) 3. Galtier (poached by PSG) 4. Favre (Highly rated, failed) 5. Digard (interim) 6. Farioli (poached by Ajax) 7. Haise - current manager In the same time they’ve built a young squad and lost key players to bigger teams. United won’t face those issues.

Martinez will probably be back playng before Luke 😬

Another 8 months out. He took a long time to get back to playing decent after the injury he sustained in the first season. Had only just started to find some form the last month and then out again. Got to fear for his career at this point with another injury like that.
comment in response to post
Probably not. He’s a loyal chap. Rejected Arsenal in his prime to stay at Leicester, so even at 38 he would probably reject us 😅
comment in response to post
At this point we should just try for Vardy. Old and cheap and still a goal threat. Would do until the summer.
comment in response to post
I think for our budget’s sake we probably have to make Europe, but won’t be bothered if we don’t. I agree on those three, but would also include Mainoo as he will find his form and be a proper player for us. Hope Ruben gives up on the likes of Dalot and turn to youth.
comment in response to post
We can only hope. There is some serious dross at this club so giving some kids a chance wouldn’t hurt. Who knows, might even turn out for the better.
comment in response to post
Yeah Zirkzee doesn’t even see himself a striker, so we shouldn’t really regard him as one. Hþjlund can’t even do the basics atm, I feel he may benefit of a loan at this point. Wheatley have barely played for Walsall, probably not hard competition for Z and H. Maybe give Obi-Martin a chance?
comment in response to post
Unless Arsenal give him and Bayern a tempting offer we may go back in for him tomorrow. Hope we get someone in to bolster our attack đŸ€žđŸ»
