PS - as the lead dev heheh - my favorite part of this project is BY FAR the movement styles. It's so freaking cool to learn, research and connect the dots between the fighting characters I love and the martial arts their moves borrow from. it's really legit cool!

We only have 300+ moves in the system so far, because we're focusing on games and fighters first, as we're looking at tens of thousands of moves versus only many thousands of fighters by comparison.

At first I wondered if I could make a commit (or issue) each day for a year straight. Then a year became two. Now i try to hit ~1k/mo.
I taught myself how to code after breaking my neck a couple years after retiring from my US Luge Team career. This graph became my program, to push & try harder 😍 🙏

@start1up.bsky.social i'm in
@supercombo.gg and @dustloopwiki.bsky.social are our two most common links out to competitive content, but lore and history end up pointing out to fandom and wikipedia respectively most often.
Any API changes possibilities TBH. Need to read docs then meet maybe?

I often code with YT running in the bg (which means full ads roll). So I’ll try to hop amongst my many accounts to help where I can.

@antfu.me I don't know if you have the ear of MDO or Fat (OG bootstrap guys who ended up in the GitHub design teams), but I'd be shocked if they didn't know who you are.
I mention this because this npm upgrade might get approved faster if pitched from the design/ux side. MDO/Fat could do that.

Dude totally agreed. It's a weird feeling though. Just thinking about it kinda makes one look at the work a little tiny bit differently, imo. In a good way. It's just... humbling.
And as always, thank you for all you do for us @antfu.me !

Wow! This brings me back to the days! I love that they still remember matches. True passion imprints.
Thank you for making and sharing this! Feel free to tell the fellas the same!!!

I'm a sucker for purple/black and purple/white colorways. For the record though, the taste isn't rooted in Victrix's branding. Did some time at RL HQ in accessories design, and black/white with a regal purple are the RL Purple Label colors, too!
Awesome work as always @jonyfraze.bsky.social !

Totally. I'm so bummed that case played out the way it did. It's purpose was far beyond petty IP stuff.

I mean... if it's there for now, scrape it? Then format it in markdown, and put it in a free public GitHub repo.
Just looked at a few pages though, and this is a LOT of content. Not a small job. Markdown won't be as pretty and will be all stacked - still very readable/usable. But it's possible!

Nice! Loved hearing your passion about the character Conan in your preview vid. That genuine love and respect for the character totally made me share it with fam that also loves Conan.
Looking forward to watching this vid later tonight! Thank you, for all your hard work dude!

OK so I just checked the db 🤓, and there's 87 unique voice talent records.
BUT, the focus has to be on platforms, games, fighters, then moves for end users before we can really hammer out the data for the game studios.
RE: VO future count - there's already 1,139 (not unique) fighters so far! 🤯

Glad you're ok dude. Been remotely helping old NLA peeps to plot routes and figure out places to head towards and coordinate relocations for a couple of stubborn older ladies with pets. Keep potable water and be safe! If i can help LMK.
