Story time. Once, in my youth, I experimented with cruelty. I decided, for science, to try being an internet troll. I set up new usernames and joined new online spaces and tried being a dick to people. I thought maybe I’d feel some satisfaction. Instead it made me want to puke. Why is this a thing?

Y’all I am really liking most of what I’m seeing. It’s kind of amazing. I haven’t seen anything I didn’t like. Great red carpet this year.

I don’t know who this is but this is probably my favorite Oscars red carpet look in history. My feelings are intense, strong, almost angry.

We are going to be seeing this dress every year for the rest of our lives. Ariana is making history here. This is serious.

Seeing some really exciting yellow on the carpet too which is making me very excited. The E! News app is taking too long to update, I may need to resort to taking shitty iPhone photos of my TV, because I’m not going to twitter for the latest pics.

Zanna Roberts-Rossi saying we’ll see a lot of blush and red, and earlier mentioned that we’re seeing a lot of brown this year, which I’m…intrigued about.

I am almost more excited about the men’s fashion on the carpet this year. It’s been SO exciting to see men stepping out of the staid tailored tux look recently.

Oh my god absolutely. It’s probably my most recommended and most re-read romance. Just stunning, every single page.

I switched over a year ago and never looked back. Moving your data from GR to SG is easy. The metrics are awesome, the challenges are fun, and I appreciate how low-key it is: nobody is getting famous by writing scathing takedowns of beloved books here. It is truly a space for book lovers. Take this seriously: it was “so easy” to add my family’s education details but they did NOT ask for Form 1098-T and we owed <$1k. When I manually went back to the Deductions section, the ability to add 1098-T was there when it hadn’t been before and now we have a return coming our way. Be diligent!

My honest belief is that Bluetooth was never intended to work properly. Like fax machines. It’s just there as a stopgap before they release something that actually works.

Been thinking about this a lot (not tagging the sender, for their privacy). Most of us won't have the chance for for grand, capital-R Resistance heroics. But every one of us will have a thousand small choices to make about how to live our lives and where to draw lines. Use them well.
