Something that’s been helping me keep the momentum during writing is changing the font color to the color of the page, so I can’t see what I’ve written. Prevents going back and touching up minor mistakes when trying to move on with the writing

Sometimes you just have to turn the logic part of your brain off and allow the horny but to rule the show. Smut isn’t meant to make sense, it’s meant to scratch and itch in your brain and your nether regions

It’s obviously great that artists can make money off their work, but I also think there’s a menacing side to the way society always wants artists to turn their talents and hobbies into side hustles. You can’t just draw: you should do commissions! You can’t just crochet: you should sell it! Etc.

The first book is slow and essentially a long prequel. I’m aware it’s not the best thing when you have to ‘get through’ the first book of a series in general, but I genuinely enjoyed the rest of the books.
