Does it count if we were planning to buy a home in 2020 and haven’t recovered from the shock of COVID and the subsequent inflation? I’m in Tampa, FL… in 2019 a house was possible on our ~$70k income. Now, with costs (including insurance) the risk doesn’t seem worth it.
