Yes, exactly.
For *them* it was a huge jump and should be celebrated. Which is why comparing it to RDR2, from ROCKSTAR GAMES of all things, is downright silly. Especially TLOU or Uncharted? Completely different art directions and technical ambitions.

If I had to guess it’s probably inspired heavily by AlwaysUp, Chained Together and ofc Getting Over It.

It’s also worth remembering that Steve had reservations about Cook. Steve knew Cook would always do the right thing for the company but he did admit he wasn’t sure about his love for actually making great products.
Steve would probably have an aneurysm at the Apple Card for example.

He also famously hated Fox News and was a vocal supporter of Obama, even going as far to donate to his compaign.
He hated Trump.
Given the unique circumstances of this, It’s hard to say how Steve would have handled this but I don’t think he’d do what Cook is doing now.
