Modern day: Ghost of Tsushima.
Some games that I thought were beautiful at the time of their release:
Myst
The Magic Candle
One on One: Dr. J vs Larry Bird
(Once upon a time, EA was a great small studio, not a soulless conglomerate.)

I've always thought that Always was considered more meh than bad. I think it got quite a bit of slack for giving Audrey Hepburn a send off role (albeit not in a great film).

Heinlein was not an easy guy to categorize. A Libertarian, he was super conservative in fiscal and military matters but he was also suuuuuuper liberal when it came to social issues. So much so that his conservative fans think he "went off the deep end" post-Stranger in a Strange Land.

I've seen quoted social media posts pointing to this from early 2021 when the Deshaun Watson news broke. Apparently Tucker also lessened his SM presence around the same time.

Sadly the department from The Cabin in the Woods was deemed unnecessary by the brain donors running the current administration.

The Watson thing became common knowledge in 2021. I've seen posts that indicate there were already scattered social media posts that claimed that Tucker was doing similar things as far back as January 2021 and he withdrew from engaging on SM around that time as well...

Still way more likely than the NFL rigging games to benefit the team in the 24th largest media market in the NFL (or the 34th largest media market in the US).

The ultimate Autocomplete On Steroids (that gets things right NEARLY all of the time) is coming REAL SOON NOW. We just need to dump another metric f*ckton of capital into it to see reliable results from it... /sarcasm

As a fan of the first seasons of both American Gods and The Walking Dead, it seems to me that the original creators interfering in TV/Movie adaptations is usually not a good thing.

I worked at an RCA dealership a couple of summers when I spent them at my dad's (who owned said dealership). It was the early '80s and they were pushing this tech hard. It really was nice compared to VHS at the time...except for discs that skipped...

Love Fright Night, but realizing it's a 27 year old woman playing a High School sweetheart and remembering the later film career of Stephen Geoffreys (Evil Ed) makes it an odd watch for me these days. Watching Amanda on Married With Children just 2 years later just seemed wrong.

The screenplay was written during pre-production (not RE-written). Cobbled together from various rejected script ideas. IMO it shows. The majority of the blame probably goes to whoever OKed Vincent Ward's script and didn't realize it was crazypants (that's the technical term).

Yep. I was in High School when this was a hit in the US. The guitar solo in this is very much "Lindsay Buckingham-esque"...to the point where I thought it was a Fleetwood Mac song for quite a while...

Same. I've purchased, either digitally or physically, everything I downloaded from the file sharing sites save one song. For whatever reason, last I checked, it's nearly impossible to find a digital or physical copy of Spencer Tarney Band's "No Time to Lose" in the US.

Absolutely. But I swear I've seen some videos of Aussie punters just casually bouncing American footballs off the ground like it's no big deal to control it despite the size/shape difference...

When I was a young teenager I had an interest in the Datsun/Nissan Z cars. I grew up to be 6'4" 200+lbs. By the time I hit 18 I realized how awful driving one would be for me. Both size wise and FOV wise. Spending most of my day seeing over people meant that getting low to drive made no sense to me.

I would guess that the responses vary based on someones location. Living way out west like I do (Arizona), the one I typically forget about is Delaware. I remember when it came up in the film Fight Club that my inner response was "Oh yeah, that's a state".

Many of the biggest board game designers of the '90s credit Sid Sackson with the birth of "designer" board games. He was cranking out designs for 3M/Avalon Hill for decades before that. To this day the board games you will see at mainstream stores like Target are 90% "Monopoly" type games.
