POPCORN TIME PEEPS 🍿

Why is this not a bigger story? The deputy GRIFTER-in-CHIEF wants to rob new workers of their pension, give existing workers lower pay rises, while taking his glod plated MP pension in time. This is what Deform clowns voted for. To make themselves poorer birminghamunison.co.uk/2025/06/03/r...

One of the funniest things I've read in ages. Curtis Yarvin is built up as the great sage of the reactionary right, and yet his political thought has the depth of a teaspoon. At one point he says: "In China, you can think and pretty much say whatever you want.” www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

Wow, that's really offensive. Though I'm more offended by the lack of an apostrophe in the first word of your post...

But the passports are blue, what does it matter if we now have to suffocate our kids before we arrive at our hotels?

Dr Assal Rad— “𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 is NYT’s euphemism for crimes against humanity.”

Surely it's because he will stop damaging the brand when he's not doge-ing

It will be interesting if this photo is broadcast on any of the main news channels tonight. @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social @itvnews.bsky.social @channel4news.bsky.social

“If Trump and his supporters can defame others,” writes David Frum, “they can dull voters’ awareness of the astounding and horrible uniqueness of Trump’s corruption”:

This article is a tough, tough read if you are a Labour supporter... But unless your plan for the next 4 years is to live in a little bubble of self-delusion then watch the party you support disappear into oblivion, you need to. Bitter medicine, but necessary. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Just for clarity….this is why the BBC constantly fill our screens with Farage & “experts” from the Tufton Street cabal of RW nut-jobs… FFS the current BBC Director of news was previously the Editorial Director of GB News! Where the hell are @lisanandy & @Keir_Starmer ?

To be fair to the FT, that was an opinion piece from Tory Camilla Cavendish, and while there was lots of tosh in the piece the sub-editor's eye-candy headline doesn't at all reflect the thrust of what she says

Might not be enough political benefit? What about doing the right thing, Labour? www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Just to point out Reform only had 37% of the vote in the KCC elections but that gave them 70% of the seats. 63% of voters were left with 30 of seats and absolutely no power. At the last GE Labour had 34% of the vote but has total power. Democracy? I don’t think so. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Imagine a foreign leader giving a knowingly factually inaccurate lecture about America for 30 minutes on national television in an effort to humiliate the U.S. by... ...presenting Pizzagate conspiracy theories as true. This was way, way worse. Considerably more offensive. A humiliation of America.

The obvious question is why aren't state pensions big enough to cover winter fuel bills in the first place, making winter fuel payments entirely unnecessary

Labour assumes many left-wing voters will “hold their nose” and vote for them anyway. But that’s increasingly not the case. Carys Afoko speaks to @carladenyer.bsky.social and @shockatadam.bsky.social about challenging Labour from the left. www.prospectmagazine...

"Gary Lineker has once again tested the patience of the BBC by speaking up for humanitarian causes" - BBC News. Meanwhile the rest of the BBC are safe to talk-up genocidal maniacs. Why the fuck am I paying the licence fee?

If Morgan can beat the BNP in Barking, goes the argument, surely he can do the same for Reform in Britain too Yet in all coverage of McSweeney’s supposedly unique ability to slay far right, through deploying tough messages on crime & immigration, almost nobody has actually checked whether it’s true

Is Trump's pledge to the Middle East "however much money you have, you can give it to me"?

Keep digging that hole Yvette. Used to be such a fan of yours. Whatever happened to you & your boss? Has the power gone to your heads?

Thames Water is on the brink of collapse – and will use emergency cash to pay out huge sums in executive bonuses. Water company bosses are making off with what they can before the whole thing comes crumbling down!

Tuesday’s @thetimes.com cartoon times.newsprints.co.uk/morten-morla...

“All of this hullabaloo about nonsense deals with Britain and China serves to distract from the brute reality of the Trump and MAGA trade agenda,” writes @davidfrum.bsky.social. “Fiscal redistribution from poor to rich: That is the goal.”

Ben Jennings on Keir Starmer’s new stance on immigration – cartoon

BREAKING: Sir Keir Starmer makes exhilarating speech, explaining his polling problems were due to him not being racist enough and he now promises to be more racist than ever to win you over x

"Conservatives have created this hostile environment.. we should welcome people wherever they come from.. the UK is better because of immigration.. Lab has been a bit scared of making the positive case for immigration.. we need to turn that round" The most duplicitous politician in my lifetime

This is Labour's core problem here. The right will never allow Starmer a win on immigration because the issue is central to their appeal and therey' daren't lose it. So whatever he does will never be enough.

You do seriously have to ask, with a Labour Government in charge, why the BBC is still controlled by a cabal of Johnson appointed right wing grifters? And Labour wonder why their narrative is always drowned out by Right Wing propoganda!

True: Brexit caused a big rise in immigration in UK.

Great, Starmer cuts a deal with the nut jobs

TANK vs TESLA "We've crushed fascism before and we'll crush it again" - WW2 veteran Ken, 98, in the tank

www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

The government was wrong to cut winter fuel payments. It was wrong to keep the 2-child benefit cap. It was wrong to slash disability benefits. Pushing people into poverty is the wrong thing to do. The right thing to do is redistribute wealth and power so that everyone can live in dignity.

Kick genocide out of sport & culture

🚨: @amnestyuk.bsky.social has produced a report looking into our benefit system in the wake of Labour's benefit cuts and the findings are harrowing 👇

Trump's trade is Britain's Suez - a huge dose of reality

Any MP heeds humility, it's Streeting

Spot on

Rachel Reeves, "We're confident we can secure an agreement with the United States.. This gov will alwas work in the national interest" I'm quite disgusted at Labour trying to secure a trade deal with Trump - while Trump is telling Ukraine to cede land to Russia

Labour are pleasing no one. Their stupid red lines on Europe, their constant appeasement of those who voted for Brexit (red wall) and the lurch to try and keep up with the vileness of Reform UK The country wants a clear choice not three different varieties of bigots & idiots

A great piece by Zoe Williams Reform UK get far too much attention & too much is read into their results & not other parties A strong progressive vote in local elections will be written off as random or outlying, while rightwing insurgency is considered to indicate some fundamental truth

Mindblowingly awful, given the historial precedent of associating particular ethnicities with particular types of wrongdoing. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Good morning #BlueSky!💙😁 And now a message from China: #JDVance

I'm sure that Reform UK's new action figure will appeal to their supporters.
