I was 11 when the first Bush took us to war, and 23 when the second one did. At 11 I didn't understand, and 23 I was enraged but not connected to any sort of community that gave me an outlet for it.
Now I am 45, and my rage is perimenopausal, hyperfocused, and has a bullet point To Do list.

When Biden got elected, I posted the clip from the original OVA's first episode where one of the students celebrates Jinnai being ousted from his student council position and says "Good! I was sick of the bastard AND his fascist politics!" for no one but myself.

It's a simple animation error but it is incredibly funny that they accidentally made Mirai not wear pants precisely in a scene where she'd previously been alone with Bright in the sickbay

I also remember Bandai Ent pushing “First Gundam,” but mostly limited to their press materials. And I only remember *that* because I remember people on forums being annoyed by the “First” moniker
