The ends justify the means, right?? As long as it’s legal (which is not that important for many rich people who don’t care about legal accountability, eg Trump), why not lie, steal, cheat, commit fraud and deception? If the benefits far exceed the costs or risks, then isn’t it smart to do?

I’m not sure if it’s true, but I read that the population of Muslims is growing and that of non Muslims is decreasing in every country. If true, why is that?? The assumption is Muslim women have more family values. I don’t think that’s accurate. There must be other reasons for the differences.

Well, the root cause has to be women since they decide on whether they have a child and when. Obviously values influence decisions. So I don’t see anything illogical or inaccurate with those experts. It is what it is for countries. Women shouldn’t be forced to have children because of a man or govt.

IMO his views have a legitimate basis. From what I’ve seen from middle & high school, both parents & kids, the majority of people are OK being average in life. A small % of people pursue excellence. To each their own. You can’t expect exceptional results if you don’t have exceptional performance.

This doesn’t make sense to. “The veil is a banner for Islamism, a marker of the subordination of women to men.” Isn’t a kippah a “banner” for Judaism? Also, “…the reason is to …avoid practices unique to non-Jews.” A veil is a women’s choice per her belief in God, NOT because of a man.

What has helped the most to keep humans alive? I’m assuming something food related, but my 1st thought as a critical discovery is hygiene. I suspect more people have died throughout history due to illnesses and infections, and the biggest help to reduce those deaths was bacteria.

There is runxue, or “run philosophy”, which refers to the determination of large numbers of people to emigrate. Recently, “revenge against society” attacks – random incidents of violence that have claimed dozens of lives – have sparked particular concern.”

Isn’t it basic biz econ? Corporate media revenue comes from advertising and sponsors, correct? So they make decisions based on maximizing their consumer audience to thereby increase corp demand and purchases. Therefore, their “news” is driven by marketing & sales, not facts & truths.
