Observations: 1)"Orlock = classical male desire to dominate. His first action is to subjugate Harker in his demand to "be addressed as the honour of my blood demands it." Later, he professes himself to be "an appetite, and nothing besides" or ruthless, unchecked ambition and power for its own sake.

Rewatched Nosferatu night before last. I like it more and more. Actually teared up a lil at the end. Very unusual for me. I think there's perhaps more layers of meaning than it's gotten credit for.
