100%. Especially since family members can "opt you in" without your consent.

Takes a while for the sound to kick in, but it's worth it; the video is real cool. Rec'd if you like Lene Lovich, David Cronenberg, or that Altered Images "Insects" song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpMP...

Evidently, Sailer himself is squicked by Trump's authoritarianism.

The Prince movie "Under the Cherry Moon" is the first that comes to mind.

I truly hate Israel's government and its atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank, but it's purely factual that there are antisemites across the full political spectrum.

Right?? Some buses but it's not enough.
The busier a place is with pedestrians and commuters at all hours, the safer it is.

I wish :( Instead, I pay about $100/mo on public transit, but it is a good cause.

Authoritarian governments are way more scary than commuters.

Am a not-particularly-buff woman and have done similar in NY, SF, and Buenos Aires without issue.

I like this. People are more likely to do it if there are ready-made flyers. I'm not a software person, but the dream would be a site where you check off boxes about your community and a flyer assembles that matches those needs (e.g., language used in the flyer, specific concerns emphasized, etc).

If they think being creepy and threatening will convince more normies to buy Teslas, I dunno what to tell them

While I think it's good for people to sell their Teslas, I get it.
But it would be easy to stop advertising the company for free.

Correct: it is good to boycott SpaceX and everything else Elon Musk is involved with. If he's toxic enough to these companies' earnings, he may be ousted. In the meantime, let's support his innovative competitors.

South Africa is a beautiful country but didn't deserve to be supported by tourism dollars during apartheid

By all means, when Elon Musk's finances are no longer connected to Tesla, people should buy as many Teslas as they want

Did Khalil personally do all those things? Is abduction the appropriate punishment for those things? I don't think you're a reasonable person, so I am not going to respond to you again.

That's fine. I'm sure the two of us have disagreements, but I respect your position if you disapprove of Khalil's abduction. Like I said, it's fine to not like him.

Point taken that I may be wrong about his perspective on the hostages. As far as I know, he hasn't said anything publicly about them.
We shouldn't abduct people over opinions.
comment in response to

I don't think you can assume his personal beliefs based on that. But more centrally, abductions based on opinions is not something we (or anyone) should do. I'm not going to tell you you can't hate everyone in CUAD.

They shouldn't have been abducted from their homes either.
I suspect Khalil would agree with that, but even if he doesn't, that doesn't excuse the illegal actions of the Trump administration

Please do not give Tesla free advertising. It is crucial that people stop buying new Teslas.
