Sadly, "should be" almost never equals "will be"

You are only saying that because it is a really valid point. Stop making so much sense. Also, Dystopic Hoarding would be a cool band name.

Dems lost because 1) sexism, 2) racism, 3) people in media like Tapper normalized Trump's horrible behavior and the Republican officials' complicity in that behavior, and 4) a lot of our population wants an autocratic sexist racist as their leader.

Ooh, you tell 'em, Chuck. Such a powerful response from such an effective Senator. They'll definitely stop now.

Leagues with the same division sanctioning competing against each other for talent, fans, sponsors, etc. cannot possibly be a good thing. Our system is so broken by greed and incompetence.

A few more from Shakespeare, that he 100% coined:
- word up
- fo shizzle
- oh snap
- it's 5 o'clock somewhere
- hasta la Vista, baby
- stupid is as stupid does
- it's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now
- keep my wife's name out your effing mouth

Well, then, let's just all sit around and do nothing and hope it all works out. Maybe it will this time. It never has in the past, but maybe this time. Thanks for this chat. I feel inspired now, to take no action, like the Dem leadership. Yay.

I'm not understanding why me wanting new Dem leadership somehow means that I like Trump? Nothing I have said indicates any affinity for trump. I repeat my head injury question.

Well, he's certainly good at doing nothing! The problem is, doing nothing sure as hell isn't working. Others in congress seem to have some ideas that, at the very least, are more than nothing. Perhaps give them a shot at leadership.
Also, you seem pretty angry; unhinged, even. Do you need a hug?

How is Schumer showing any leadership at all? How is he connecting with, inspiring, and motivating an electorate - a huge chunk of which sat out the last election? He is not leading. He needs to step aside. Get the hell out of the way. He's a hindrance. A road block. And, frankly, super annoying.

Right, but I'm not doing that. I'm not blaming Dem leadership for things Republicans are enacting. I'm blaming Dem leadership for sitting idly by while the republicans do it. It sends a really bad message to vote for something/someone bad. The fact that it will pass/get approved anyway is irrelevant

No, I'm blaming Dem leadership for being feckless, weak, lazy & boring - because they are. The country needs Dem leadership to be decisive, strong, energetic & innovative. If leadership isn't leading to anything other than losses - both at the ballot box & in public opinion - then time to change

Are you talking to Schumer? If so, I agree. He should do that (rarher than vote to approve their nominations, among other thing). And while he's at it, he should also step down from senate leadership. A true leader would see the wisdom of doing so, and would do it.

There are people on his staff whose job is to make sure he knows the correct protocol when meeting with anyone.

Step aside. Please. Even when you do something right, it is so very uninspiring. It is time for younger energy. Or, really, just energy. That would be a nice change. You are hurting America by remaining in leadership.

Yep. A candidate's obligations to the constituency don't end on election night. They begins. What good is it to win and then sit around being a feckless twit. E.g., Schumer wins elections & then has zero positive impact. If anything, he is a hindrance & it's pissing people off & bleeding support.

Funny, the Republicans seemed to cause a lot more trouble for the Dems when the Dems were in the majority. Dems being silent has never ever worked. Ever. Not once. Never. The public is not aware of what is going on, for the most part. Dems need to tell them. Oh, and Carville can go suck an egg.

That's crazy talk. You are supposed to do nothing other than write mildly worded letters making weak demands, then sit back and hope that the public somehow sees the awfulness of the other party all on their own, while the press covers pop stars going to space. Winning formula every time. Right?
