Well, yeah, Andrew Tate being hugged and welcomed as a hero by a Meta board member does mean what you think it means. Your mothers, sisters, daughters will alway be at risk due to Facebook, Threads and Instagram. It’s not a failing, the misogyny is built in by design. Always was.

BP have seen Shell avoid paying windfall taxes by doubling down on fossil fuel… BP has to follow for shareholders… so the next step needs to be massive taxes placed on fossil fuel exploration, extraction, refinement. Make green energy only way forward if they want to maximise value for shareholders.

"Probe reveals hundreds logging in from abroad..." There are over a million council staff (900k FTE). Hundreds could be abroad at any point for all sorts of reasons - including work, study, compassionate grounds, etc. This is a ludicrous non-story designed to attack public servants.
