And my friend just took this ability for her Cutter so that's going to be great. I have a soft spot for those "can just do this thing without a roll or mechanics" abilties. That and powers like walking through walls or flight without a page of rules, you can just do it. Let players have fun.

Bonus: I was really happy with the sketch too, my line art usually sucks. It turned out real adorable, I love my hackywheels boy.

Thanks :) Cody is one of my favorites to draw.

Unfotunately I do not have anywhere you can find that information but here's a little bit of stuff: Somber is part of a long running curse that is passed down by an artifact. There is a place it can walk between, any who try to abuse the curse get sent there, mortal or god. There is no escape.

Love that huge arch just vibing. The city reminds me a bit of where I live, with older fashioned buildings and bridge. I took a look at the arches wikipedia and oh my goodness it is so much bigger than I thought it would be.

I love the minecraft bees a lot. There's something just really chill about having some cute creatures hanging around your Minecraft base, although they don't really offe too much in vanilla Minecraft.

OMG I especially love that first pic but they're all great. What a goober. I love possums too. I do have a character of my own who is a possum. I am also a big fan of strange gooey character, there's so much you can do with them and the powers are really neat. Thankyou for showing me them all.

Oh, I have a fella. Cody is part time programmer but moonlights with a group of friends solving supernatural mysteries. He's well versed in magical artifacts, technology, and computers. They also have a AI drone companion that mysteriously became self aware (but thankfully didn't go Skynet style).

Savage Worlds and its offshoots come highly recommended, with the understanding that it is the swingiest of swingy systems. I used to call it GURPS Lite Lite. It does Fantasy, Sci-fi and even Supers pretty decently, but lacks those in depth rules GURPS does for really specific genres.

I tend to read a rulebook and if I like it play it. It has sometimes worked (GURPS, M&M, Pathfinder) and sometimes hasn't (Cyberpunk, GURPS again lol, and some old school DnD likes). At the end of the day whatever makes for cool, silly games. It's why I like stuff with creative options for players.

While they do occasionally release new content, I don't think there's enough interest with a new edition overall. It's a shame because because those tools like GURPS character creator and Foundry have made it more accessible than it ever was. It shows there's dedicated fans still.

I'm running M&M soon, actually. I've tried other superhero systems (including GURPS) and I think I've gained an appreciation for the fact M&M has some sort of balance with it's hard caps on defences, skills and attacks/damage. No other genre can cause player fear of a villain called Yoyo Man.

Yeah the mods are both flexible and a pain. I tend to just say no to anything other than some mods/flaws that make sense for a power, and cap base advantages at an appropriate limit for the points. It requires more DM wrangling than 3e for sure. More toolbox than straight up tabletop rpg.

Also the Foundry Virtual Tabletop modules for GURPS are insane, like oh my god it streamlines so much of the crunch and makes it approachable for newer players. There would be so many systems I could recommend if there was more support.

Big fan, though I have moved off of it over the years with Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e around the corner. It would still be my go-to system for realistic games, still. 4th edition is pretty good, though it lacks some books from 3rd like vehicles and cyberpunk.
