@tracelarkhall.bsky.social Just in from driving in London Left the pub at 12:15 last night (Friday) Haven't had a session like that for a while Have a great BD. We will be marking my wife's BD in London on Sunday 2nd LoL ! I have you down as no dietaries for 17th March. See you at Pancake Race ?

Boundary Mark: St Giles in the Fields, London. A slightly out-of-focus photo taken, I think, on Keppel Street in Bloomsbury.

Hampstead. Though there are various parts; one of my favourite bits of London. I'm there a lot. Curry, drinks or coffee.

'St John's, Downshire Hill', Hampstead by Christian Coop freehandlines.co.uk

Boundary Mark: The historic parish of St Mary's Islington, London. This is located near to Tufnell Park. Some time b4 Covid 'lockdown', I bought a facsimile 19thC map of the parish from Islington Public Libraries. I have walked the parish boundary twice. I *think* that it took me about 5 hours.

Green cabmen's shelter just out of view, maybe. I think that the motor cabs are ranked-up in the middle of the street. All the best (sound?) cab ranks are in the middle of the street. We have just lost one on Elgin Avenue. OK, it has been moved to the side of the road, but IT'S NOT THE SAME !

@lccmunicipal.bsky.social this.

Boundary Marks: St Dunstan in the West & St Andrew Holborn in the City of London. Uploading from my camera-roll. I have no idea where this photo was taken.

Repost with the first album that you bought with your own money. Includes a related ad from a Sunday paper, late 70s, I would guess. It's ephemera...

Proper announcement to follow, but something exciting is coming, and you can get 25% off for the next two days! 🥳 www.waterstones.com/book/thomas-...

SUTTON PLACE, HOMERTON,Hackney London north side c.1858 View of back garden of No.24. Sutton Place, with back of houses in Portland Place, and detail of arbour with roof of Sutton Lodge and spire of St John at Hackney.

Which is the church on the horizon ?

@westminsterwalks.bsky.social Hi Jo. I'm having a discussion elsewhere. Was there ever a parish church in Highams Park E4 (on Selwyn Avenue) which was demolished in the 70s/80s ? I am being told that there was, but I can't remember it. #TIA

Boundary Marks: Two parish boundary marks on a public house which, I think, is located on Farringdon Street in the City of London. It's a number of years, since I took this photo. 1) St Bride 2) St Andrew Holborn

Livery Past Masters' AGM at Cutlers' Hall today, followed by Lunch. The diet starts tomorrow ! A beautiful sunny day, thus far here in North London.

@tracelarkhall.bsky.social after lunch today, I shall be hot-desking with my Clerk at a LIvery Hall off Gresham Street for two hours. Working on a Strategic Review which I am chairing. Quiet office space and a large table, a God-send. Later Parish Clerks drinks in Hoxton !

@tracelarkhall.bsky.social @stationerscomms.bsky.social I really like this. So much going on. My next business card will lean heavily on this ! OK, I dream ...

@vrounding.bsky.social er ... :)

No less than three parish boundary marks on the western curtain wall of the Bank of England, which faces Princes Street. The island site of the Bank of England sits on three parishes in the City of London. These marks for only two: St Margaret Lothbury x2 St Christopher le Stocks

I have been posting old photos from my camera-roll on my hard-drive onto this BSky feed. . Most post with no issues. Some, when posting, appear to be rotated by ninety degrees. Any ideas why ? Thanks.

Was Lord Mayor of London.
