I aint know nuthin, but i think the close up being just a part of the face/head, compared to slighty zoomed out and see the whole head, really sets a different, more intimate close up feeling.

One thing ive always noticed is the details with skin, like moles or freckles, beauty peeps etc may say its imperfections, but i think its what MAKES it perfect, makes the characters seem so alive and real!!
