Yeah he looks fine, I just wish the Tank modes he was given looked cooler. With the new toy, I understand because they wanted to make a G1 cartoon accurate megs. His Earthrise toy looked HORRIBLE though and was a big downgrade from his already decent looking Seige tank mode.

But what do you guys think? I personally think it could be the shot in the arm Transformers as a brand needs right now because to be brutally honest, it's been kinda hard for the franchise to get casual, mainstream attention for a good few years now.

The comic is CLEARLY trying to look like the G1 Cartoon but Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are both really old now and honestly did their best voice work ever in TFP, kinda hard to top that. Also Peter Cullen is 83 at this point as well. Not saying he couldn't do it, but still, it's worth noting.

The other thing is.... those comics have only been going for a few years. Heck, they only just started the proper Gi joe comic. There's not exactly a whole lot of material to adapt, especially if its gonna be 40 mintue episodes like invincible apparently has.

It is most likely going to be done in the same style as the Invincible show, which unfortunately is not a series I like from the bits I've seen of it. BUT I will give this new Transformers thing a shot if it is indeed going to come out, because I could see that show's style working for Transformers.

Sentai doesn't have this issue beause in Toei's eyes, each Sentai Team is its own universe outside of crossovers (the same for Kamen Rider too mostly).

Seriously, this is why in my Power Rangers reboot fanfic I'll be putting all the other ranger teams on different planets and having the Earth power rangers being just the MMPR team because that makes things so much easier.
