They revamped Story Mode and it's almost optional / super easy to pull off now. I love it.

I gave up on Avowed because I felt that it didn't cut enough content 😅.

It's a classic for a reason: The Final Fantasy Prelude, which is tattooed on my leg.

I was listening to an episode of the Eggplant podcast, which is filled with people who are very knowledgeable about games, and one of them was surprised that Dota 2 originated from Warcraft/StarCraft. Not everyone has played every game, that's just normal today, we're not in 1995 anymore.

I only played the weird football map with friends. I don't even think it was good, just the novelty of playing "football" in StarCraft was enough for us back then.

Had the same thing happen on Windows 11 3 days ago. Maybe just a really weird update?

Everything that's cool in One Piece is because Oda said "fuck your expectations". Them finally finding Raizo comes to mind as a great unexpected twist that AI can't make up, because ninjas aren't like that normally.

Money and power. Nerds were raised thinking that they could now make it due to the Internet. For those who made it, it still wasn't enough and now they all want to do like Musk and control the government because they think they're experts in everything, so they're aiming for the top spot.

Honestly, you just need that paper to get a job and, in my experience, most teachers aren't teaching anything worthwhile (in business classes at least). I learned infinitely more in my first 6 months working than in my 4 years of uni, including a masters.

It's nice for devs but doesn't change a thing for users. Devs should lower the cost on the Epic Game Store if they want users to buy from there, they would still be making more than selling from Steam and it would give a reason for users to go there.

982 after nearly 2 years now. (Started after watching S1 of the live action) There are some boring episodes here and there but the show as a whole just keeps getting better, it's amazing how Oda managed to do that.

Just realizing that I haven't found any mimes or petanks in my last few dungeons and now I miss them :(

Also multi-phase bosses with new attacks to learn in the new form can get fucked. Story mode rules.

It's the one thing I keep being complimented on by pretty much every woman I meet. These guys are insanely stupid.

Switched to easy after the Act 1 boss showed up in it's second form with new combos to learn and wiped me out in 2 turns. I'm having a much better time now, I don't have enough free time to restart battles a hundred times.

Public opinion is irrelevant when one of the parties targets single-issue voters so effectively anyway. They might be pro-trans, but if one party gives them more guns then they'll go with the guns.

If we ever reach that point then we'll have Futurama-level robots, which implies consciousness and means, imo, that they must be treated just like humans. But that's never happening in my lifetime.

This is a non question because it can't ever be good at creative stuff, since it will always average things out by design, which is the opposite of what being creative should be.

It is getting so hard to explain to my 8yo why she can't play at home when all of her friends play it and she can even play it at school...

As an AI hater, I can still say that some use cases make sense. Like using visual AI to extract data from a Purchase Order to automatically fill out fields for a sale in your database, then having people review the information. Reviewing takes less time than typing everything manually, so it's a win

"William Hung sung She Bangs on American Idol really badly and became a megastar. Obviously the game has changed and all musicians should follow the same path."

It's probably their first JRPG, we all go through that phase before trying a second one.

Also, like, we all know The Mandalorian won't be a huge thing right? It fell into the "infinite TV shows that are must-watch-to-follow" trap that tanked recent Marvel movies, so I would expect the same results.

Had to deal with a much lighter version of long COVID and it fucking sucked, so I can't imagine what's it's like for you. Bought the game if it helps even a little by lightening your burden.

You need to put the boiler room south of it. When you put the chess pieces in a flying V formation you get a hint that the spacecraft runs on steam.

Keep going, the first five days are for discovery, but you should figure out something cool between days 6 to 10 and then you'll be hooked. Probably something related to the Utility Closet.

I'm talking about people who won't read anything and barely watch the news, they exist everywhere and always think that "changing the party in charge" will fix everything.
comment in response to

Canada (like most countries) has a significant portion of its population whose vote is "we need to make sure that we change the party in charge once in a while". So when Trudeau left, they got confused because now change was everywhere and luckily for us mainstream media pushed for Carney.
