Is there any plan to make this design available on the women's cut?

Nah, they just take your money whether you go by air or rail.

I quit my office job last year and went back to school for a Masters in Planning because I want to put my hands directly on the mechanisms that can make my city better. Determined, and driven.

I think there's concern about the economic feasibility of the Toronto>Windsor connection, but we might see a shift in those numbers in the next 10 years, and depending on how well Stage 1 of the HSR system is used tc.canada.ca/en/corporate... (feasibility study from 2020)

There's a bit more information on the Alto website (scroll down to 'What's Coming Up?' - looks like the contract with the chosen private partner is due to be signed within a few weeks) altotrain.ca/en/discover-...

Technically GRT is only required to have all bus stops cleared 48 hours after the snow stops falling, so this does unfortunately meet the level of service they have promised to deliver www.grt.ca/en/rider-inf...

(I had to hold onto the bus stop sign for balance and carefully put my feet into the footprints of whichever poor soul came before me, who had to sink their feet 6 inches deep in order to get off the bus. And I'd thought about taking my 4-year-old on this trip with me; honestly glad I didn't)

I swear I can still feel how those metal levers "ker-chunked" into place when you moved them

How often do we see such unanimous voting in TO city hall? Glad to see they're pushing for federal labelling mandates

Aura-La on Frederick sells pastries but also pantry staples and some fresh/frozen products, all of which are at least Canadian, but often hyper local from the region

Canada is coordinating it's response with Mexico as well. Trudeau suggesting Canadians start buying local instead of American. That could mean "Canadian rye over Kentucky Bourbon." Also suggests Canadian vacation at home instead of the U.S.

Ah thanks! My phone had kicked me out of my Record login and the website kept booting me out of the article. I'd been wondering what might happen to the Sushi Stars/old B&T locations!

Does it say where they're planning to put it?

HOWEVER, credit where credit is due. Huge shout out to Crushed Almond Bakery Cafe on Frederick St for always having their sidewalk cleared, including all the accumulated snow at the street corner. I can always count on them to have the job done right.

This is on a regional road, with a bus stop less than a block away. Accessibility MATTERS - for the young, the elderly, people with mobility devices and strollers, and those who just don't want to slip and fall. (The bus stop still hasn't been cleared either, so really we're winning on all counts).
