Lesson number 2: plan slow, act fast. It should be years before a shovel hits the ground, despite the desperate desire by politicians to wield a ceremonial spade. Once the build does start, we should be amazed at how quickly it happens.

Lesson number 1: accept your limitations and hire people, regardless of their nationality, who actually know how to do this. We've never built high-speed rail in Canada before; bring in those who have.

I requested ours on Feb 6 and they arrived Feb 14. It took us about 15 minutes to complete them and drop them back in the mailbox. Instructions were clear and straightforward.
