The most important thing I can tell everyone that I've learned from being a YouTuber who explains how stuff works is that each and every time I thought "this is common knowledge and doesn't need to be explained" I was wrong.

I always liked Link to the Past's large mountain/cliff features, which I think were originally done using a unique 32x32 grid system. But I was wanting to do something similar with a 16x16 tilemap and auto-generate the corners and edges.
