Yes. I was an all star mom & not only is it $$, it almost requires a SAH parent. My kid had to be in the gym by like 4pm 4-5 days per week. During comp season, we had to be free to travel & bc you have to win bids to some comps, you can only plan so far ahead. Idk how that would've worked w/a 9to5.

I don't follow college a ton but, full disclosure, I'm not from OK but live near OU & like sports. So, we go to a lot of games bc why not?
I was really impressed with his growth last year. He ended the season a completely diff player than he started so, I'm excited to see that w/pro level resources.

Fears is so much fun to watch. Obviously, he’s really good but I most enjoyed how he would hype up his teammates & the crowd.

I am obvi not male but it always confuses me bc like... if you want the male gaze, wouldn't you prop up ppl like DiJonai, Rickea, Skylar, etc? Or, if they need to be straight & yt, Cameron Brink is right there! HVL & Bec Allen, too.

That doesn't even scratch the surface, I fear.
They will legit leave a mostly empty package in the pantry or fridge so you think you still have some & then, right after you go spend 2+hrs & an Audi payment on groceries, be like, "You didn't get more [whatever]?!?!?"

It isn’t just hockey. I often joke about needing a day planner to keep up w/which sports are playing on what platform & when since you can no longer just channel surf.
This was my 1st time trying to get into a sport I didn’t already know/care about, though & tbh, I got annoyed & just said forget it.

I only knew of the 2 Stanley Cup teams & the Red Wings (grew up in MI) but looked up the closest team to me (Stars). Turns out their games were blacked out in my area & as someone that just wanted to see if I even liked the sport or team, I wasn’t going to pay for a service just for that one team.

So good that I decided I was going to pay attention when regular season hockey came back. I *wanted* to be a hockey fan. I was actively seeking it out but, it’s tough when you know nothing about a sport & there’s no set day/time or channel/app & it isn’t well advertised or discussed on sports shows.

Kinda long but, my take::
It has gotten way too hard to be a sports fan!
I love most sports but never really got into hockey. I actually watched the playoffs last year bc Charles Barkley kept talking about them during NBA coverage & it was GOOD.
