Musk is not up for election and a faction of the people in power would eagerly shed the Republican party like a hermit crab discards an old shell. They can blame Musk and switched to their preferred brand: MAGA. I’m not at all confident elections 2 years away is an restraint on their actions.

I recall Lisa Feldman Barrett criticized previous foundational emotion studies because the representation of emotions used were pictures of actors portraying those emotions. Exploring the points shown in the Hume dataset the English ones were clips of tv shows - including laugh tracks.

Some very random suggestions on Qs to take or leave: Each time you stop reading mark where and jot down why you stopped. What stories are similar to this? Did you want more of any scene? Any scenes you hoped to see but didn’t? Which characters were most/least real for you? Why?

I am playing as Kevin, the Wizard. 90 minutes: ~15 trying to connect, 10 making characters, 5 minutes figuring out how to get back in game after a disconnect. In the other 60 minutes we saw a lot of cut scenes, got off the ship and are at some kind of beach.
