Is there a particular tomato soup recipe that you prefer?

Pulled from tiktok, I haven't had a chance to verify it yet.

Pity that it doesn't -- one could use it to un-fuck parts of the world ;). "No, you don't want to bomb anyone, you want to go home and take a nice bath."

Hypnosis seems like a pretty innocuous thing to ban.

I feel that. It's been particularly bad the past year or two.

Damn, you are very cute. And hello :)

If you can't have fun during intimate time, what are you doing? :)

I bought it when it came out. As a geek/nerd/quiet kid, I really identified with the "weirdos" that were mutants -- didn't really fit anywhere, didn't mean anyone harm, but were picked on for no specific reason. [okay to use]

Both of you are beautiful. Have a lovely time. :)

You are a lovely woman and deserve better. But if you learned from the relationship, it wasn't a total loss.

I was too -- apparently the doctors told my mother that she needed a c-section and they were pretty sure they could save her, but weren't so sure about me. Obvi, I made it (or this is all a very vivid hallucination as I'm dying during childbirth).

A softer photo of you than I've seen... stunning in any situation :).

We ended up focusing more on card games: Fluxx, Disturbed Friends*, Joking Hazard, Fun Employed, Pick Your Poison, etc. Tsuro was an approachable boardgame, but folks keep asking to play the card games. Some have material unsuitable for the easily offended(*).

As a 60-year old, these past 9+ years have been the worst that I've seen in my lifetime. I last traveled in 2018 (Japan). My circle of friends shrinks as those with no empathy are cut. At least I live in the PNW.

I think it depends -- for some people, it might be just realizing that they've achieved what they want to achieve, and deciding it's time for a change. For others, yes, if they're forced onto a new path that they didn't choose.

I suspect that some people don't know that they've hit their personal "wall" until they're there.

Yeah, I had a request from a friend of mine and of course, after lots of no-issue prints, that print turned into a molten blob on the nozzle.
If Jeff is the god of biscuits, I wonder who the diety of 3d printers is.

As a 3d printer owner -- I empathize. I have two and both need a few hours of work to get them running again.

At this point "leadership" seems a bit strong for what most of them are doing (or not doing).

You do realize that many constituents have lost all faith in Schumer and are losing faith in the democratic party in general. It's a time to fight, not a time to talk about how maybe things will go back to "normal" when the orange overlord is gone. Your "normal" got us here. Be better.

please tell the democratic senators that voted with the republicans that they should resign and let people take their seats that will fight for their constituents. You want to know why democrats lost in 2024 -- this is why.

most democrats are losing our support by giving in. :(
stay strong. we want someone to lead the fight, not suck up.

But to be a billionaire, you have to lack empathy -- you're only going to amass that much wealth by hurting large groups of people. Hopefully, years from now, we'll look back and say, "that prompted us to look and realize that wanting to be a billionaire is a mental illness".

Yeah, despite the relatively short distance away here in WA state, I'm stuck with de-regulated food. Time to figure out how to move to Ireland, given that Canada doesn't want my retired ass ;)

Maybe we should have the ancient members of the party retire and give way to people actually living in the 21st century? I'm 60 years old and far more familiar with technology than the majority of congress.

At least tiktok covers the protests against fascism going on in other countries. Nothing on regular media about it. Funny, that.

Education has been undermined by the right since what, the 1980s? Few people seem to have any critical thinking skills. And too many just parrot what they hear on their "news" station.

Or just rampant stupidity. Remember Hanlon's razor, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

As a former manager, my best team had the most diversity - different genders, races, backgrounds, cultures -- more and different perspectives make for stronger teams. Why would I want 12 copies of the same white guy?

You always want multiple sources, btw, so you don't find some random Facebook post that someone made up.

You have data to the contrary or you just choose not to believe it? Looks like 2023 was $24.2B and the $32B was projected for 2024.

there's a reason -- to try to increase Meta stock price so they make more money. More for them, screw the rest of us. That explains 99% of what they do.

and more than a handful had TikTok accounts, so they weren't *that* concerned about their data, just their stock portfolio.

Apparently it's the only platform using a type of encryption that the NSA can't bypass. That makes more sense than the "your data could get hacked", given that Meta and Twitter sell our data regularly.

The data that I saw said that TikTok contributes over $32B to the US economy, supports 5 million small businesses, and 2 million creators. Banning TikTok looks to cost Americans $1.3B in the first month if the ban happens. And TikTok supports over 200,000 American jobs.
