Child of the 70s. Fist thrown in the air and times they are a changing. Then 50 years later it all changed. For the worse. Still worth fighting for? #AhooDaryaei #SlavaUkraini

And the reverse - those eateries like the Cannery Cafe in Steveston, who impose a credit card surcharge at point of payment. Trying to sway you to cash?

Musk has Canadian citizenship. We don't want him either.

Trump just tore up a FTA (USMCA) with Canada to impose punishing tariffs. He said "who would ever sign this". It was him on his last term. A minerals deal with the USA- any deal with the USA - is not worth the paper it is printed on.

"Otherwise, no free country with a stronger neighbor will be able to sleep peacefully anymore." And that includes Canada whom Trump continues to belittle and threaten with annexation. Punishing tariffs start next week. Jackboots will be next.

Starmer refused to support Canada as Trump denigrated our PM & threatened to make us an American state. Canada sent hundreds of thousands of our youth to stand for the UK in WW2. Starmer needs to remember who is an ally & who will crush the UK under it's boot as soon as grovelling is not enough.

In BC paid vacation days are capped at 15 after 5 years, so the 4 week scenario is not universal. Of course a union agreement, or contract may offer more time off, but without one no employer is obliged to offer more. And you would be surprised how many do not.

If you are not working for the govt or have a beneficial union agreement or beneficial private employer - annual paid days is 10. Some provinces raise that after a certain length of time. Here in BC you get an extra 5 days after 5 years. Then capped. Plenty of jobs extend nothing extra than minimum.

"Special relationship". That is what Canada once said. Then Trump called out for us to be their 51st state, denigrated the Prime Minister by calling him a governor of that future state, tore up a FTA & slapped a 25% tariff on us... The only "special relationship" the Trump admin has is with Russia.

Every front of the line wealth immigrant scheme Canada has devised has had disastrous results. Taxation records indicate declared incomes lower than those on refugee status. No job creation other than real estate fees as they buy mansions and wash money.

"As it relates to potential costs savings City staff believe... savings wld be negated b/c the Province has added other requirements to counter-balance SES...wider stairs, non-combustible finishes, antechamber on ea floor" And the livability benefit of SES allowing more windows wld increase costs.

Not just Ukraine & Europe. Trump is bullying Canada. Calling our PM a "governor" of the US's future 51st state. Spreading lies about trade & seeking to destroy our economy - an economy integrated with the US that will cause harm to both sides. All this to America's neighbour and once closest ally.

I think Ukraine is the only country in the world where there is no antisemitism - at all. The concept just doesn't exist. I've also seen beautiful mosques and synagogues there. Islam is also tolerant and peaceful (unusually) Which makes the whole nazi spiel even funnier.

"There must be consequences, and rioters held accountable." Quit teasing - Canada's catch and release system ensures there will be no consequences or accountability.

“It shows you the frustration south of the Fraser at: ‘We’ve seen a lot of growth, but where are the amenities? Where are the schools? Where’s the transportation? And I also have concerns about public safety.’” Four years to fix this? Or frustration will flip what's left of NDP seats.

After Ukraine's shabby treatment, there will not be another country that will ever voluntarily give up their armaments and nuclear weapons with the promise that "We Will Be There For You".
