Yes. And it's about clothing, too. Except in the summer heat (no fix for that!), the discomfort is about not having the right clothes to be comfortable out of doors. Can get expensive! Winter ice requires spikes for your boots. And more! But ppl do it, as a choice. Does that choice scale? Dunno.
