Hmmmm. If the high fantasy requirement isn't strict, maybe Providence Girls or Deus Ex Mechanic? app.thestorygraph.com/books/da1375... app.thestorygraph.com/books/223de5...

I haven't read it yet, but The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon is in my TBR pile and fits this. app.thestorygraph.com/books/15d2f8...

It might be the wrong vibe, but I really like The Atrocity Archives by Charles Stross. It's Lovecraft meets government bureaucracy with a lot of dry, British humor app.thestorygraph.com/books/21db00...

Maybe A Deadly Education by Naomi Novak? app.thestorygraph.com/books/28a4d1...

Pixel art anything really lends itself well to cross stitch! This pattern will be available as a PDF download in my store eventually, if I ever finish this sample, and I have three more designed I need to test stitch (Gros Michel, Blueprint, and an eternal Egg)

You can always actually buy some and store them, and let people around you that you trust know (by mouth, don't text) they exist. Somebody might come to you in need, or on behalf of somebody in need

Thank you!

Oooh, this looks promising! I'll have to see if "DB hook models" includes my machine. Thanks!

This falafel recipe always works perfectly for me (all hail Kenji, master of the kitchen) but you do need to prep the chickpeas the night before www.seriouseats.com/the-food-lab...

Have you read the book "A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking"?

Hmmmmm. Bsky accountability write-along?
comment in response to post
Oh, yeah. The amount of information I forgot immediately after being tested on it is staggering

Absolutely. And yeah, typing out Chat GPT's answer would completely get around this check with how I'm interpreting it. But at the very least, it would provide a barrier. I feel for teachers right now trying to confirm their students are doing their work. There's no easy solution, as far as I know

In my experience, at least, Google Docs saves pretty much any time I pause, even if it's only for a second. You can see all that in the version history, even multiple copies within a minute if you've paused long enough to let the autosave go through
comment in response to post
I guess the question here is what they mean by edits. If they mean going through and making changes, then that could have hurt you. But if they just mean the regular autosave showed that you were typing your thoughts and not just copy-pasting enormous chunks, you may have been fine

Do Tavs count as BG3 characters?

I've made tops with Knit Picks Lindy Chain that came out very nice

It's particularly wrong, because the tariffs our administration created are a tax on goods coming into the US from elsewhere. Any price increase people are seeing in other countries on American goods would be from their own country increasing tariffs on goods imported from the US

From what I've read (I am not a doctor (well, not that kind of doctor)), the issue with covid is that it doesn't have seasons like the flu, it's constant. So a flu vaccine lasting 6 months is enough to get you through the season but a covid vaccine lasting 6 months isn't enough

StoryGraph (a Goodreads alternative) has a section on each book's page compiling content warnings readers have set and if they're minor, moderate, or graphic. Here's an example from Chuck Tingle's "Bury Your Gays." If you click on "see more" you can see how many people put each tag and where

This is my favorite of the collection, I think. That purple is so vibrant

You're halfway there! It is a Golden spiral, but it's a specific one

Wait, wait, wait. Y'all have working McFlurry machines over there?
comment in response to post
I can't necessarily recommend it, because it is objectively a bad movie, but I unironically love it. If you're a fan of Rocky Horror, it's probably worth checking out

I think it's an unpopular opinion, but I love color pooling. It's like ripples or waves
comment in response to post
Ohhh, that pooling is making me swoon!

You're brave. I'm doing a project on (I think) 25 count lugana right now and cursing myself. And it's not even full coverage

Holy crap you must be a masochist. What count fabric is this? It looks incredible
