wait now I'm kinda curious if there are any mammals whose stoatlength number is LARGER than their stoatweight number. Snakes would fit, but are there any mammals that are snakier than a stoat? #StoatsAsMeasurement

Assuming the graphic is accurate, that's a spray distance of 6.5-9 stoatlengths! Stoats are also prolific scent-markers, but cannot reach as high on tree trunks, so they prefer to leave their marks on stumps, fallen logs, or other noteworthy objects closer to the ground #StoatsAsMeasurement #2025MMM
