Glad they decided to delay. Hope it will be better with a few more months in the oven.

Still hesitant to transfer quite yet but I'm glad to see its going smoothly aside from the long wait times.

Looking good!

Little Bobby Tables comes to mind as something to try next ๐Ÿ˜† xkcd.com/327/

After the early name reservation troubles and silently getting kicked out of the server queue, I thought I'd wait before transferring my character. It seems after the troubles they had then, it may have been better to do the character transfers in waves.

Absolutely. Crusader Bridenbrad quest in WoW, Starlit Melody in Lost Ark & the piano piece that is played with it. I haven't played either of them in years and they come to mind as some of the most impactful and memorable quests I've played.

Rep grind in theme park MMO's that's required for story progression. Especially if they are time-gated to how much you can earn per day.

Just watched the clip, absolutely insane. Glad they are OK. Hopefully the police will actually do something but unfortunately, this kind of thing often gets brushed aside/not taken seriously.

Mage, because Mage.

I'll have you know I had no part in the *Stretch* goals! but seriously, its cool that it got funded so quick. I've been following it on discord and have been invited to their play-test. I think this team will deliver, from what I've seen so far.

I would say ArenaNet for the amount of time I've put into GW1 & GW2, and how their expansion features push innovation in the MMO space. For up and coming: Fantastic Pixel Castle (@fpcstudio.bsky.social) because of how open they are with development (Podcast) and what they've showed so far.

I can't think of any I'd like to see...I only like cosmetics if they fit. I dislike when MMOs feature cosmetics that absolutely donโ€™t match the game world, but theyโ€™re cute or part of a collaboration with another franchise and as a result, any sense of cohesion goes out the window.

I am! I really hope Jackalyptic Games pulls through. The Warhammer Universe, both fantasy and 40K, would make an amazing setting for MMOs.

Have you made any progress with the nightdress, crumbling estate or the handsome vampire since your last update?

Not exactly, back in SL when I left, my hearthstone didn't change. Looking into it , it seemed there was a way to do it on purpose that was different than what happened to me (but maybe similar reason(?)) I weirdly had access to BFA dungeons so I just went back there did dungeons to max level ๐Ÿ˜

In a similar vein to Pre-Searing, I have a max level alt in Exile's Reach for a few years. Players can transmog (and ofc give gold so they can transmog). I've had a ton of funny experiences from people wondering how am I here. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Kezan pre-deathwing is fun. Not a lot of RP on it these days though.

I kind of feel all of Warhammer Onlineโ€™s zones were underappreciated due to the game's focus on RvR once players reached the RvR level. This meant many missed out on the beauty of these zones and how they truly made the world feel immersive and alive.

It's a toss up between Makoto and Kawakami for me. I'd lean more towards Kawakami because of the storyline with her & the interactions with her at the start were hilarious though the dynamic of their relationship is iffy.

Great stream today! Looking forward to hearing more about the world this year. It was great to hear about Juno role & her perspective on Game Dev topics. I couldn't help but notice Juno's Warhammer statue. No wonder Faye ended up getting into Warhammer; she's surrounded by it at work! ๐Ÿ˜

Love the look of all of them, especially the 2h gatling gun! Can't wait to try them out!

Absolutely. I think it's also in part the culture that is created by the community. Whereas it's not uncommon in WoW, I've never had something like that happen to me in GW2,LOTRO, ESO, New World. From the launch of the game it's mostly up to the players to build a healthy and supportive community.

I think Group Finder could be unlocked after certain criteria are met. Maybe have solo trials that introduce players to certain mechanics they may encounter in a dungeon and if they pass it unlocks a group finder or have a dungeon unlocked in a group finder after they do it once normally.

I'm following @fpcstudio.bsky.social . It's the studio that @ghostcrawler.bsky.social launched. They are working on a MMO.

Kind of depends on the type. If I get the materials to generate a blue zone, Will there be a way for me to find more people like a matchmaking? In which case yes. Otherwise if it relies on people creating their own groups, I think its OK to have it as a free for all. Players can decide.

This is something everyone who has played an MMO has experienced. If anyone says they haven't, they were the DPS that pulled the boss before everyone was ready ๐Ÿ˜‚

Everyone knows that the only 'requirement' to be a Witcher is spending your days going from tavern to tavern, playing Gwent and ignoring the pleas of the locals.

General questions: What is the team's stance on multiboxing? For world bosses, should loot drops be personal, or should they come from a shared pool where everyone must roll for a handful of items? Will there be any PvP? (sorry for all the questions ๐Ÿ˜…) (3/3)

Will Red Zones be connected to other Red Zones, or will each one be its own instance? How large will the City hub be, and will there be layering? (2/3)

Project Ghost: On the Core Loop Panel, under "City," there is a mention of "Faction Bases." Could you elaborate on how factions work? Is it a traditional setup, like Order vs. Chaos, or is it more open-ended, allowing any race to join any faction? (1/3)
