This is understated. Models will improve with different strategies at the same time. Via curated training. Via evolution. They can evolve so incredibly fast with this our competency is going to get surpassed in a blink.

Don't they also not allow enough hours for employees so they don't qualify for full time?

Hasn't fighting already resume between Israel and Iran today? Ya boy isn't keeping you up to date. ground.news/article/isra...

So the fact that it's at best in constitually gray area, or in defiance of it, is fine with you?
comment in response to post
It's not uncommon for a response to not be immediate, but measured and brutal. I pray this isn't one of those times.

I mean at least half of that description is well under your control.

Honest engagement at least...

It's sad this has so many likes. It's not what I had thought BlueSky was trying to be.

Learning to manage ourselves is becoming an essential skill. It's so easy to over commit, let boundaries slip and neglect what rejuvenates us. But, the good news, we can choose different :-) You got this!

When two people play in the mud all you get is two dirty people.

I've really enjoyed using the magic box theory to better understand seemingly odd collective behavior. It maps really well. It also comes with some doomerism, because there is no good way to solve it. As we progress as a species, it gets worse.

He always has been. Even when he supported Trump it was with Democratic-ish values. It seems like a big piece of the problem is a lack of understanding of the systems and politics, in terms of its inner workings. We've lost our informed pundits and replaced them with entertainers.
comment in response to post
I think this may not work. So much effort has been made to hold the President accountable even when they don't have direct control. He appointed him and he could replace him. Both parties are primed for this.

If there was a reasonable path to being legal and a feeling due process was being followed, this wouldn't happen. I hope Trump finds a way to just get these hard working people legal. It would be such a W, and he has the political capital to do so.

When lanes a properly designed and incorporated for the right problem, they tend to solve it though. AI is coming for more than people want to admit....

I wonder if the undocumented workers could protest and refuse to to back to work illegally. That they need to be granted legal work status to contue, or, if Trump could have just done it and turned it into a huge W. "Getting rid of illegal workers" doesn't require they be deported.

We appreciate you.

I appreciaye all the replies and engagement but if we want to be better than X we really should try a bit more. Less name calling, more problem articulation.

Maybe Venus is in retrograde and it's not your fault you feel this way.

Why pick such a polarizing issue if you want to have a real discussion, and why not something relavent to more Americans? There are dozens to hundreds of policy decisions of this admin you could have discussions on.

It's not only lie but nonsense. Scientists creating and experimenting to find new solutions are half a dozen or more steps removed from the ultimate customer. If they are being paid, it's dumb money, and won't do anything. JAQ is cowardly propaganda, I wish it don't work so well.

Honestly, with how intentional it is, I appreciate you noticing. It's hard out here in these streets.

Almost all ideas that include CEO evil, and profit bad are dead ends. This thread needs that said. We need meaningful market participation. Healthcare is in a really weird state where it's a mix of insurance and health subscription. Step one is probably to tear those apart.

Dunt underestimate the BlueSky slop posting. It's here.
comment in response to post
We need some kind of engagement filter, or sentiment screening. Your post only shows up in a main thread if it meets a threshold on structure and sentiment. Otherwise you have to repost on your own (without it showing up) and go hate reply on your own feed.

I had this thought earlier today. This platform's audience is proving the alternative slop to X.

As I scrolled through this thread and eventually stopped. The amount of economic 101 understanding is astounding. Just a bunch of empty statements that would cause unrepairable damage in any form of implementation.

Only if we do not include assets when considering wealth. When someone has a successful company, and it's worth grows beyond a BN, who gets it. The state takes it? Board forcefully reallocates to their friends? It makes no sense.

More BlueSky posts please. Your acolytes who retreated here are being neglected.

Yes, but those disruptions happened somewhat slowly. Seems like the speed that various types of AI adoption could happen, might be a bit more jarring.

These comments are unhinged. No good deed goes unpunished.

The chilling effect on infestations to active issues would be not great. Lots of people would go un-saved. Not sure it's worth it to save some people a bit of sleep.

Strong list of capitalist economies that engage in the necessary regulation of capitalism.

Your singular best tweet. This may be your peak, take a moment and breathe it in.

Could a surge of inventory, have a negative impact when it arrives as well? Can some sort of shock occur when you now have too much of all the things that were too expensive and limited months ago?

Gross. So you use Hungarian notation when coding in a typed language?

To be fair, it could just be immoral misconduct and not incompetence. Which might be a bit of a step up?

Why would you talk about litter boxes in bathrooms when you can cry about Biden? Or Obama for extra credit.

What's the context of this? What is I not know?

Do they cite reasons? Wonder if the undercutting of the chips act is responsible. I imagine Tariffs across the board contribute a ton.

Or, just let them play theirs. Seems like the best sales pitch for Democrats are elected Republicans doing what they said they would do.
comment in response to post
Would be cool if we could get some checks and balances on all this.

This may be the best thing companies can do right now. Be honest about layoffs, and be loud.
comment in response to post
So I feel like it's known this will happen, but are the reasons due to all of the ancillary care surrounding it? Or is there some sort of social phenomenon?

If you wear them outside and step in poo, what do you call it?

What even is this comment? Say less and be more concise? Shouting into the Internet might offer catharsis but doesn't help dialogue.

They can't do this unless all alternative perspectives let them. Conservatives are not evil nor have nefarious intentions, they are good people, their ideas are being fertilized with filth by their pundit class.
