I still love you the girl from Mars #ash#wembley

Spring is coming

No UK acts in the global top 10 albums or singles of 2024 🤯 “Previously, UK acts have appeared in one, or both, of the top 10 lists every year since at least 2003.” reports the BBC www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... This is why we need to take seriously the crisis in grassroots and our media 🧵

Trying to watch Severance on AppleTV. Can’t stay awake. Total snooze-fest

Food of the gods on a freezing wet winter’s night.

I don't think @Marmite has made it to Bluesky yet but I'm going to say something. They need to bring back Truffle Marmite. It is a disaster to find that they have discontinued it. WHY??? Truffle Marmite brought so much happiness.

Question for #neurodiverse readers. Studies show we are bullied in school (and probably at work as well) more than our peers. Are we also more likely to victims of fraud as well? Please comment.

As chilling a meme as I have seen. But I agree.

Looking west down Oxford Street, London. No filter.

The police need to conduct a serious investigation. This isn't just about the royal family but everyone. If the press can get away with spying on the royals, the rest of us have no hope. Prince Harry had the resources and resolve to fight back.

Meta's top lawyer on AI will no longer be defending the company due to Zuckerberg's decent into "neo-Nazi madness." "Mark Zuckerberg is, of course, free to do whatever he wants to do," Mark Lemley says, "but I decided that that wasn't something I wanted to be associated with." Exclusive w/ WIRED:

Donald Trump wants to oust three members of a national privacy watchdog that is a key part of Europeans’ privacy protections in the United States. It marks the “first big political puncture” in a EU-US pact to allow data to flow freely. 🔗 www.politico.eu/article/usa-...

The media is terrible at reporting their own discretions but even I was shocked to see both the BBC and Sky News completely ignore yesterday’s news on Prince Harry’s court case against The Sun.

Don’t underestimate the impact you’re making when you choose to wear a mask. You’re protecting your health & the health of your community. You’re helping ease the burden on our healthcare system. You’re standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable

This Price Harry case is BIG in the privacy legal world. He got Murdock to admit guilt and apologise to him and Princess Diana for the unlawful invasion of privacy. His mother was killed trying to get away from the press and today their paymaster apologised to her.

I had to report what I thought was very suspicious activity I witnessed on the Tube today. I've been on and organised for businesses anti-terrorism training and what I saw was a big red flag. I've been using the Tube regularly for nearly 40 years. Never had to do that before. I hope it was nothing.

Took a history tour of St Mary’s Church on Upper Street, Islington London. Really enjoyed it. Great views from the steeple.

Facts.

FTSE 100 CEO gets more in less than 3 days than average worker pay for a yr. Median CEO pay £4.22m, 113 times average worker. Nothing to do with performance. Shareholder objections ignored. Need worker-elected directors on boards. Let workers vote on exec pay. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Why don’t all eggs have an expiry date printed on them like the top egg? I wrote the expiry date on the bottom ones.

As we bring in a new year, 100 people are still being held hostage by Hamas. We cannot accept another day more. It is time to #BringThemHomeNow.

New year’s breakfast. Happy New Year’s ✨

Butterfly.

Holiday dinner. So grateful to be together sharing this meal.

Genuine question. When was the last time you purchased or viewed an online version of Time magazine? I used to buy and read Time lots. It has been many years since I've read one of their articles. No longer relevant and even less so with the "person of the year". Oh how far the might have fallen.

Spring bulbs are hope to me. I planted over 500 Spring bulbs this autumn. I have indoor bulbs as well.

Beautiful Nancy.
