Oof. 52 years!!! That is a lifetime of mess to leave. At one point I genuinely thought my son would have to sort it when I died. I’m only in my 50s and in good health.

I literally just finished sorting my mother's estate out 48 hours ago after nearly 22 years. It would have never happened even in that length of time if I didn't stop trying to please everyone.

Genuine question. Are things only cultural if no one is getting paid? Artists, workers etc need to eat. I pay for my culture because I don't expect musicians, DJs, bar staff, door check even promoters to work for free. Corporations get involved when people want paid after years of doing it for free.
