I had a watch that I liked, but it was cheaply made. I accidentally hit it with a belt buckle while getting dressed one day and it shattered the glass. šŸ˜¢

Would be pretty funny if Texas stopped providing disability accommodations to our wheelchair bound governor.

Itā€™s not tyranny when you like whatā€™s happening.

They donā€™t hate having women in video games, they just want them to look like this. (The ā€œsuperior eastern designā€.)

Aw, they werenā€™t down with the whole open vest, no bra look? šŸ˜‚

Feels like eugenics is making a big comeback. Adolf was a big fan of the American eugenics movement on the early 1900s, and gave us a shoutout in Mein Kampf.

I donā€™t know fighting games, so I looked up I-no. Ah, you had *those* parents. (I did, too.)

Itā€™s been on my wishlist for like, forever. Every so often Iā€™ll see it there and be like, ā€œoh yeah. Wonder whatever happened to them?ā€ šŸ˜…

Leading up to the civil war, there were a lot of people who wanted abolition, but didnā€™t want to say it too loudly because they didnā€™t want to lose moderate voters. Good to see that some things never change.

Donā€™t forget Jasmine Crockett: the best rep out of Texas in forever.

I wish I could remember who said it, but it was an actor I believe in an interview said, ā€œFirst thing I wish is for you to change, but if thatā€™s not possible, then die. Doesnā€™t have to be painful, I just wish you would go to sleep and not wake up.ā€

I'm like, "Ok, you want them to change and prove they're only doing it for the good of people? Remove the profit motive. Cap prices, set rates, and stop allowing medical patents for lifesaving drugs and equipment." tHaT wOuLd bE SoCiaLiSm!

Now that I'm thinking about it, them being mad at "Big Pharma" when they're doing exactly what an under-regulated major corp would do is peak stupid. How you going to be mad at a company seeking profit while also getting mad that government does anything to limit profit? Like "No, but they're BAD!"

I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and have been on medication for it for a few years. I remember what it felt like to have nervous shakes for no gd reason and Iā€™m not going back to that.

They wouldnā€™t let women run marathons because they said it would cause their uterusā€™s to fall out. I feel like itā€™ll take a couple of years, but weā€™re getting back to that level of stupid in the US.

Interesting. Thanks so much for the info. Not saying Iā€™m going to leave the US, but *gestures at everything* itā€™s good go weigh alternatives.

1. How hard is it to move there? 2. Are they bigoted or racist?

Which sucks, because when you find out that girls like your show your response shouldnā€™t be ā€œgirls like pink, donā€™t they?ā€

And Iā€™d play the demo over and over again, because I couldnā€™t afford the full game.

Average users barely know how to use the features on their smartphone, so it follows that they arenā€™t interested in anything other than ā€œare people I like in here and can I talk to them easily?ā€

My representative is Michael Burgess. My voice means nothing to him. He voted against federal laws to make workplace sexual discrimination illegal, against the Violence Against Women Act, voted yes to constitutionality define marriage as one man and one woman. Update: I submitted an appeal and got reinstated already. Had to provide proof that it was me. I think Iā€™ll spend the weekend letting everyone know Iā€™m going to make an account here with my IRL name and see how many I can coax over.

I could never be in politics, because the minute they give me the floor to speak itā€™s gonna start with ā€œwhat the actual fuck is this nonsense?ā€

If thereā€™s any hope to be had itā€™s that every time someone has tried to push the temperance movement, it eventually ends because itā€™s too much of a pain to enforce, and the people pushing it are so insufferable that it eventually pisses everyone off. Iā€™m hoping thatā€™s what happens this time.
