I have wanted a Pokémon VGC simulator for years. Gets around the limits of individual games and helps standardise available rule sets and mechanics. And if you can mix those mechanics in an anything goes ruleset? I’m so down for that.

Monster Hunter’s continued streamlining and performance issues bring to mind Pokémon to some extent. But just like Pokémon, nothing else hits the same, and the core gameplay loop still has me utterly hooked, so I can’t wait all the same.

Started incorporating hack squat into my leg day accessory routine to strengthen my quadriceps a bit more. Suspect my hamstrings are too strong relatively, though I haven’t felt a lot of quad stimulus counter to the fatigue. Gonna give it a few weeks, see how it feels with time and practice.
