Yes. Democratic leaders need to be filling the void. Tell federal workers how to safely go back to work. Tell law enforcement what they CAN do to protect federal workers. Calling our representatives, especially if we are in a red state is useless. Give us purpose. Give us hope.

Then the Trump pardons of the convicted January 6th felons would be void as well. Those were signed by auto pen , too, yes? This is about being able to continue to harass Trump’s perceived enemies. Nothing more. So what can we DO about it? Give us purpose and hope.

We feared that the Trump administration would continue to harass to the people on his “enemies” list. This is about driving people to the brink defending themselves against baseless claims. So what can we DO about it? Democratic leaders need to be out telling us what we can DO. Give us hope.

Why are we not calling for the arrest of Elon Musk and his goon squad? It is illegal to impede a federal worker in their job.

Let’s hope you ladies have a passport. Ending women’s right to vote is a goal for the MAGA crowd because we care about children more than billionaires.

I’m sorry I didn’t quote you verbatim. “Maybe you should read it”. What if I said “Maybe you should read the Constitution”? How would you have interpreted that? And as for context, you take the prize. Don’t bother to reply. I won’t answer.

And why are you so hung up on a rule change (not a change to law) in the House of Congress targeted to hurt 1 person? She doesn’t deserve it. I am glad there are people who will stand up for simple human kindness.

I have a few questions. If a blanket pardon is issued for media and journalists would that stop any investigation or just keep the DOJ from indictments? If a journalist accepted the pardon to stop persecution is that still considered an admission of guilt? How would a blanket pardon work?

This is for Poncho , too. Stop it. Stop call each other stupid. We’re all out here working to take care of our families and pay our bills. We are not stupid. And stop with the “The Bible, you should try reading it”. We read it. We just see it differently.

When you posted this reply I debated if I should reply or not. I realize now that I shouldn’t have engaged on this. You are not trying to hear what I’m saying. Until you are ready to be open please don’t reply again. I won’t.

And before you comment back, Trump’s AG Jeff sessions requested the resignation of 46 US Attorneys on March 10, 2017. It is not unprecedented for an incoming administration to do so. Biden could have, but didn’t. So yes,I stand by my statement.

The investigation of Hunter Biden began in 2018. And Biden did not push for the resignation of the Trump appointed prosecutor when he took office. The initial allegations could not be substantiated. That didn’t stop the investigation which ultimately led to the tax charges.

The incoming administration is the whole point. Trump promised retribution against his perceived enemies. He nominated a man for FBI Director who put an enmities list in writing in a book he wrote. There is every reason to believe Hunter would continue to be targeted.

For which set of criminal indictments?

If you want to discuss the inequities in our justice system, l’m happy to have that discussion. That is not the point in this exchange. I’m just glad Biden took the step to shield his son from the administration’s stated goal of retribution against perceived enemies.

You see a sweetheart deal. I see selective prosecution. You see a privileged drug user. I see a man who has struggled with addiction and has been working to be better. Somehow I don’t think we will ever see eye to eye.

Given the nomination for the future DOJ, I am happy President Biden didn’t leave his son to the wolves.
