I so agree. Who are ‘working people’? Is this about class or people who go to work. And, as you say, it marginalises an awful lot of other people - i have asked but have not had any answers.

Obfuscation Sir Keir Starmer obfuscation. It is inexcusable. Is he unable to open his wallet? Is this some inherent ‘meanness’?
Certainly the removal of £300 from the v poorest pensioners fits that category.
