Haha. Blocking was a b*tch. I had to take little breaks on the old knees and also keep my cat off it. I don’t remember how long but it was a project. Every point was pulled out and pinned and then fiddled with. 🤦🏻♀️

I had knit a lot of lace by the time I tackled this. And I have to say, there were some great posts on ravelry to help over the tough parts.

I’m so sorry. 💔 Rufus brought so much joy to so many. Run free in the warm sun kitty. 🌈🌈🌈 Lots of love and friends await.

I’ll contribute to that TNR. Or maybe just TN.

I hesitate to venture a reply because I’m not a designer either and I’ve struggled myself with choosing colors. I gravitate toward option 2. Though I’ve read that successful colorwork motifs contain a ‘pop’ color. Something unexpected that you wouldn’t immediately have thought to use.

That’s clever. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking. It can be the inside if I’m not as pleased with the second yarn. That red is great. Such a pop in the winter. I never feel I can pull off red.
