The new format is working. It’s different and very interesting. You have some great guests even the ex- US ambassador to Denmark was a good pick - showed how conspiracy theories have really taken hold in US high ranking officials.

That makes no difference to Blackpool unless you distribute the tax from Westminster to Blackpool.

But it’s a local tax so rich councils raise even more money. So you have to think how are councils funded. Scrap council tax, raise income tax and the distribute from the centre? That removes local accountability.

It’s a local tax so if Westminster (Buckingham palace council) raises the tax on Buck House Westminster gets more money. Makes no difference to Blackpool.

Agree it’s frustrating but the legislation needs to be robust and it sounds like the Tories knocked something together which won’t achieve what we want. It’s a complex area.
