My favorite nights!

It's a fine line, but I'm of the opinion that people need to prepare to protect themselves. These aren't sane individuals, as clearly shown in this video. I'd rather have a firearm concealed (licensed) and be prepared to use it if necessary, than to not have one and be staring down a barrel.

Should be arrested for brandishing a firearm with intent to intimidate. He was aggressing before he got the firearm too. The one person shouldn't have head butt him, but that still didn't warrant him grabbing his firearm to not be used in defense, just intimidation. Should be an easy case.

I hope they do. People need to be reminded. It's insanity.

Probably natural. Multiple other similar magnitude earthquakes in recent weeks in that region.

Well done, Wenatchee - Chelan was out as well. #HandsOff #Chelan #WA

Keep it up! Every weekend at least! Spread the word, talk with your communities. There is more support than you think :)

Absolutely agree. The more you look at most of the Trump admin's actions in this light, the more apparent it becomes. They want chaos and hate to spread virally.

This is for testing and/or training. Not active protection of anything. It is a fairly common occurrence from Mountain Home, Idaho and I'm sure it occurs in other locations for similar reasons. It's either military exercises or testing of new equipment's jamming resistance.

Such a great book! One of my top three favorites for sure.

Yup totally. Amazing aircraft and they've withstood the test of time with their continued need, much like the B-52. They are a bit more economical than the SR-71 I'd imagine too lol

And ya know, I think you did date it at the end of your first post originally and I just totally missed it. My bad haha.

Fair. Yeah I was looking through other codes nearby and they all seem to match registrations. So if they do, it's probably nowhere near the original or they spoof another airframe, but probably overkill in most cases.

Ahhh, neat though! Thanks for sharing.

They probably are rotating transponder codes anyhow to obfuscate airframe tracking.

Wonder if it's this one that seemingly returned from a deployment and turned its transponder off over Northern California on the 22nd UTC. Maybe not, but recalled seeing this recently and they aren't in high abundance. It hasn't been seen before, for a while, or after this flight.

Oh interesting! The profile certainly could fit it. Would make more sense since it entered service earlier. I guess Chinook wouldn't make much sense with the Navy anyhow too.

That's so neat! Tandem rotor in the early days, might be a Sea Knight or a Chinook in very early service. Thanks for sharing :)

Was finally able to get in too. Seems to be getting better. Still missing some content and intermittently loading into a mission/flight will stall and the game has to be restarted. Overall really happy with the performance once loaded in though. Having a good time, which is a good sign at least.

It's really bad unfortunately :( Was hoping to at least be able to try it today, but I have been queued all day without success, restarting many times...

Appears that the frigate is now headed south, while the patrol boats remain in the vicinity of Yi Peng 3. Not sure if this is due to the channel and navigation needs or if it's breaking off entirely.

Especially with two occurrences happening within 24 hours. So incredibly improbable to be accidental due to incompetence.

That's exactly my thought too. Why use anything other than an anchor to do this. Perfect for plausible deniability. Even if crew were interviewed, they could be somewhat honest about their actions.
comment in response to
post
Seems it should be less than 200m, which leaves plenty of room for most anchor chains in that class to reach. I'd imagine this is another reason why we keep seeing it in the Baltic Sea. In addition to the more narrow corridors, increased traffic, and therefore increased plausible deniability.

It'll be a lot harder to claim it was an accident when they do it to two cables nearly 18 hours apart though, one of which had a course change just prior and after. Circumstantial, yes, but highly improbable to be accidental if they can definitively connect them to it.

I'd say it just codifies what they've already been threatening for a while. Though certainly still concerning.

Appears so. Ukrainian energy provider is reporting as much.

Interesting that Discord has gone down nearly simultaneously as well. Russia recently blocking it internally and Ukraine has been known to use it for at least video communication in the field.
