I didn't know that happened damn.

Yeah, I don't think they're done with MD still

If the players don't want to interact with the gameplay, they still have the cutscenes on YouTube. Adding a mode that would make an (already fairly easy) unit acquisition even easier would require a counterbalance for the game to stay profitable.

I appreciate that content creators, speedrunners etc look at a game from a different perspective and want specific things, but at the end of the day, you *are* going "out of bounds" of the game and you are having a completely different experience than the vast majority of players, ymmv

The best thing about it is that it slots perfectly into teams that would already have issues fueling Fluid Sac outside of Superbia

Manifesting this for me, I'm barely at the point where I can shard IDs as they release lol

And WH Heath thrives on longer fights, with his coffin generation from s3 being probably the only way to get them in a boss fight, whereas FS might swap out with a unit at a bad time

Although now that I think about it, FS Heath generates envy as well (don't know if follow ups generate it tho), so it's just a matter of how highly you value the revive passive.

I'd go for the roundabout strat of putting your burn units later in the deployment order so you can farm sin resources with your generalists and hopefully get to the Solo Dulcinea part without many casualties. Then if she nukes your first set, you still have a full burn core.

So to combat that, I'd bench FS Heath for wild hunt, his envy skill 2 is needed, and his revive passive might make a difference as well. This makes FS Hong Lu a bit weaker but he's still good standalone imo.

Rodyas pursuance can heal, and Sinclair's Cavernous Wailing gives a shield, although I'd recommend going for Fluid Sac uptie 4, it really makes a difference if you go the ego spam route. I haven't played with burn a lot, but seems like Envy generation might be a problem for that initial burst.

You really need a lot of sustain if you can't pass the DPS check (basically kill them all in order before they all get enough blood stacks), and the best bet for that is staggering your healers (one in initial 6, one on 7/8 and one as last or next last). Also, Barber and Priest should die first iirc

Embrace the fact that every answer leads to two more questions. It's part of the fun!
Jokes aside, going by everything, it's safe to say they're gunning for the L corp spot. That said, how hard is anyone's guess, but we did just get a tidbit about another ambitious company trying for W.

On the one hand, I do like that it might have made me actually slightly better at the game. On the other... 9 TURNS?

I hate the LCE a bit now.

My mind always goes to Dias who we know wanted to become the Head.
Also, Hubert with the monolith is if not outright confirmed as a Limbus ally, at least aligned and he's seemingly looking to something beyond the City as well.
I think only K/R/W corps wanted energy? Not confirmed ofc

We can assume most LobCorp backers/allies are involved with Limbus as well. Now that the pretense of energy isn't necessary, I guess they can go all out on EGO research?

Hohenheim is likely a Paracelsus reference (LCE being research focused seemingly), so think alchemy.
Maybe he's a homonculus?

I somehow lucked out with a run and superbia'd into s3 on the first round, so that just made it so I can get to 7 bullets with 7 small ones. But yeah that was my last day strat plan lol
