The two most important issues of our time: 1) the rise of fascism 2) the package has not shipped just because a label was created

I think it is really great that the world’s richest man, who is currently dismantling our government with impunity, believes the apocalypse is nigh and that his legion of spawn will inherit the ashes and, l guess, rule the solar system from Mars.

I've spent the last few weeks reading every issue of Larry Hama's #GIJoe run. It is wild, campy, intense, action-packed, and progressive as hell. popheist.com/g-i-joe-is-p...

Someone once said NextDoor is the social network for dogs if they could type. It’s always “what’s that noise?” and “who’s that stranger?” which is exactly what I imagine my dogs would text other neighborhood dogs.

Y’all out here stealing whole truckloads of McFarlane DC Multiverse Supergirl action figures now?!

initial reports made this sound like a minor failed attempt

It’s a shame DOOM 2099 is basically out of print because every other page is just a meme tailored for our insane and dystopian reality

Respectfully, I keep seeing this take and I think it’s way off. They are terrified of him being released and telling his story.

Bring back proper games journalism.

BBTS is where I get at least 50% of the stuff I buy. And have for a long time. This is transparent, honest, and 100% not the fault of BBTS.

The crazy thing is that despite the big swing back in the markets today, a 125% tariff on Chinese-made goods is still going to make entire industries extinct. Toys just will not exist in a landscape with those kinds of tariffs.

My silver lining to the collapse of the post-WW2 global economic order is that the pressure being put on action figure collectors is producing perfect little pearls like this

dear global capital:

Facsimile edition of GI Joe #21, “Silent Interlude,” released this week. Still a masterpiece of comic book storytelling by Larry Hama. Inspired at least two of my favorite toy shots I’ve ever done

My issue with In A Violent Nature is it poses as a formal exercise while breaking into slasher convention whenever it finds it convenient to do so. Instead of making an art film or a kickass traditional slasher movie they didn’t fully offer the artistic satisfaction of either route. #TheLastDriveIn

“Looking good, sir!”

KNB Effects work on this movie is unbelievable. I love the moment where the Final Girl finds the body on the conveyer belt and then there’s a *twist* on the typical body discovery shock where it’s revealed he’s dismembered and falls apart. Such a great little moment #TheLastDriveIn

The way I *cackled* when Sam Raimi stumbled into that fight “What the hell’s goin’ on?” #TheLastDriveIn

Every clip I see from Fox News or any of the business channels is basically a higher-resolution version of this. Probably fine!

If anyone ever hands you a work report, always look at it very seriously and then say "Has anyone else seen this?"

Robert McGinnis for the movie adaptation of Chester Himes' Cotton Comes to Harlem

The Sopranos is probably the Rosetta Stone of modern American reaction: it consists of people who bemoan the loss of an imagined past they mainly got from movies, claim victimization based on identity but hate when others do it, and view the people who build the society they prey on as suckers.
