I think there is a significant amount of charm in games that utilize simple, fairly low-res textures like Mega Man Legends, Jet Set Radio or Katamari Damacy. Like sure modern games are impressive but in terms of the "fun" look to games, I think they peaked at the fifth/sixth generations.

Scottish Fold cats are very cute but apparently the condition that gives them their signature folded ears can also cause painful degenerative joint diseases to the point where breeding them is banned in a lot of places, so I'd say the cute ears aren't worth the risk of them.
